DNT & Miniranks

Minis are pretty worthless when perm banned, as people should be if DNT never existed, although you do have a point about people who could later be unbanned.

Thoughts on that, OP?

 

Make DNT users minis not tradeable or visible if one day they get the DNT removed then they can do whatever

 

Personally I think DNT members who were banned for non scam-related offenses should at least have the option to trade miniranks, even if they are disabled from being displayed.

 

@PureAddiction @Bus369 i think ALL DNT should have their minis hidden for starters until they've successfuly pardoned. However, scammers sacrifice their minis at the expense of compensating victims (triggering the auction process in B) that's what i had in mind pre much

 

Hidden minis sounds good. As well as donor ranks, post count, user titles. Pretty much everything except an avatar.

 

Hide their usernames too.

 

I'm neutral on this then, I don't like the idea of robbing DNT members of their mini's, but I don't like the thought of their poor scam victims never seeing a dime either.


I'm neutral on taking mini's from DNT's that have scammed victims, and that's about the best stance I think I could take on it.

 

well for the 'drama ban' people and w/e they'd have their minis hidden until they've pardoned but the scammers would have theirs auctioned to contribute towards their outstanding debts. nobody is being robbed here that is not the intention at all.

Just hide all minis and let them have them if they ever pardon, seems reasonable enough.

i won't even lie if this suggestion (coupled with hiding everything besides their avatar) was implemented i really don't mind this whole DNT thing, spam forum is lit

the DNT rank needs a new image created created though, preferebly by a rank/someone neutral as @Sonia pointed out a DNT user should not have been able to get the DNT rank made

 

Not every person who is on a DNT list has scammed money so it would be pointless to rob them of the miniranks they have earned/purchased.

 

Disable everything except the DNT rank and post count. We're supposed to encourage users under the usergroup to pardon successfully/pay their dues. We shouldn't provide a comfortable setting for these users as that would be counterproductive.

Miniranks are more of a bragging rights/community thing and really has nothing to do with the market. The point of these people being unbanned is that so they can participate in the community.

 

They can always have them back if they pardon, I don't see the issue

 

I don't think they really care about being fully pardoned or not. I don't feel that they want to use the market anyway. My point is that those who paid money for their miniranks and were banned for non-scamming reasons shouldn't have to lose their miniranks.

 

The whole point of the system is to encourage people to pardon.
