Who uses this?

I started using it lately and I'm just wondering if anyone else uses this or used it before. Also, could some mod answer if that actually works or is it just for show?


If you don't know what that is:

Click it and it will take you to a window where you specify what type of offence this is. You can write spam, flaming, etc... and the report will be sent in. I have no idea what happens then so don't bother asking me.

 

I use it sometimes...
Especially for double posters or people who post things that are not related to the topic.

 

It sends all of us emails like this:

Honestly, I have those emails go right to my spam folder..

 

It's easier to just report it in the report a spammer section. I never check my email.

Just a question but can it be set up so that once people report posts like that, instead of sending it to your email, it gets sent to report a spammer section and it just posts itself as a thread therefore saving us time and trouble?

 

Duh....it's useless..i mostly use the report a spammer section

If it's there, then it was put there for a reason, therefore having some use. Nobody really cares what you use. This was a broad topic and my main goal was to find out if the Mods actually care about the posts people report using it.

 

Now that you said it I know to use it. LOL, I used to open another page and go to the report spammer thing and now I know to use this. I haven't used it yet but now I know to use it.

 

dont bother using it. Most Mods probably wont care about these reports so the best option is to just go to the spammer section.

 

Only use it for double posts though.

 

They don't check it anyway so why bother using it...

i knew it was there but i never used it... if someone double posts something i just point it out when i reply to something

 

good idea but if clash sends it to his junk mail then wouldnt the other mods just do that too?

 

yeah i use it all the time because noobs will spam my thread

Yeah, use it if you want but don't expect anything to be done about it. Using the report a spammer section is a better way to get our attention.
