Scammed 40m!!!

Well I was buying an account from Pk3d By Mike, he swore to god he wouldn't scam. I did 50, he gave info, I gave 50. I wrote all info, old passes, i'd's, Postal Code and everything, and set recovs/changed pass 3 times. Transfered 35m items (15m cash, full inf, d axe, d squ, whip) to it, using laptop and computer, then started fleching for a efw hours. Then went to bed. Next day (today), hacked, pass changed, how the hell did he recover??? I had recovs set and pass's changed! So I tried to recover, typing info, all recovs and old passwords/id/postal/info in, and told them everything in a small appeal, including all other stuff. They declined it 3 times. They accepted his, when I had recovs, but declined mine 3 times. 40m lost. I'm thinking about quitting... and worst of all, I did the trade at a library, meaning I can't save screenies. 40m is 200 bucks is sold... FUCK!

 

Well... I'm not that mad, as I was goign to quit anyways... but FUCK!

 

i don't think buying accounts is the smartest thing anymore too many scammers everywhere... Sry for your loss

FHSdawgs1 is right... Accounts can get recovered back with ease.

 

But I set recovs? How...

 

If it was members before you bought it he could recover it with transaction pin, account #, first password, old things that he had... What he did is he probably locked your account then recovered it himself.

 

Oh... this sucks... I'm going to quit, this game is too stressful... is there anything I can do?

 

Nothing you can do, 90 percent of people recover.

Wait guys, I've tried entering the 3 passwords that I've chanegd to, my recovs, his e-mail and everything I know about him, said I moved and forgot Postal Code and deleted e-mail with ID, I can only hope that an incompetent worked gets this message.

As artsrun1990 previously stated in another thread [here], you should be very careful of what you buy and sell in the black market. Unfortunately for this site there is many scammers. Keep in mind they HE had all the information too. It's a shame that you got scammed but always be on the lookout. You should read Artsrun's thread. It has some great information about who too look out for. You shouldn't quit, it's ashame how many hours you put into runescape from your life just to quit. I say merchant, stake, pk, and other money making ideas to make your money back. It's not the end of the world, it's not the end of your runescape life, it's what you make of it. If you do get lucky and you do get your account back hope that your items are still on it.

 

He had 50+ posts, 2 vouches and looked trustworthy, and swore on god too. So basically he betrayed god, I hope the douche burns in hell. Oh, my recover was declined.

Well... theres nothing I can do, I'm tired of makign RS accou8nts and constantly trying... its impossible to trust anyone anymore. I'm just so pissed.

 

5m for a 100+ sccount with 214 qp, and has done all but like 9 quest is took good to be true... shoulda bought po0ns account for 10m.

 

There are still people who are very trustable. But always be very careful.

Lol i wanted to buy the same acc..I could tell the guy was scamming right away...Right when he messaged me on msn i knew..SCAMMER..so I blocked him.

 

Shattered I dont think buying accounts period is safe anymore.
