I have no history of trading these, was there a cutoff point when it came to recorded trade history?

This was a while back and you might have traded it and forgotten, but the purple octopus is a participation minirank that fades over time if you do not post X amount of times in a certain section, similar to and

They were both posting miniranks from 2013 (so you automatically lost them after a while of not posting in the sections). Shit on a rainbow has been converted to a permanent minirank now that users can get from Prizeboxes and I'm not sure what happened to the octopus, it might still be a posting minirank but I don't know the section.
