Internet Explorer 7 SKINNING!

That's right, I spent a whole day teaching myself how to skin ie7 properley, I don't think anyone else knows how yet, I searched through google and came up with nothing, so I learnt myself, with alot of problems along the way BUT I DID IT!

So I'll skin 10 people's Internet explorer 7's for the price of 1mill for a skin, you tell me how you want it to look, and i'll make it.

Here is what I made mine look like:

NOTE: It is IMPOSSIBLE for me atm to skin the FORWARD and BACK buttons to look how they are now in a different color, as Microsoft have ACTUALLY made them partially transparent (they are BITMAPS too) so if you want me to skin them, it won't be anything like the design of the original IE7.

I can skin:
Tabs, stop,refresh etc. buttons, forward and back buttons to an extent, search button, arrows, favourite stars. I am WORKING on trying to change the window color.

But how does the skin work? Like i download something and run the program or what? And if I use this, does it affect all IE7 users, or just one account? Like if i use it will it be on when i login to administator?

Also, is there a chance of this messing up my computer?

 

After I have made the skin I will send you a file that you will put where I tell you to put it, If you do it EXACTLY as I tell you to do it, there is no chance of it messing up the computer, in fact, it only messes with IE7 so there isn't really any chance at all.

And the way I do it, will change it for EVERYONE on your computer.

 

Okay, and if I save this file for future use, not to resell, but can I use it on my other computer? I am on vacation and am using my laptop, but when I get home in like 2 weeks, I can use the same file for my home one right?

I have a question does this involve resource hacking tools such as resource hacker? If so its easy I skinned paint and g talk with those.

y would you want to skin ie?

and you can make an overlay with photoshop to skin those back buttons

edit: yup I found the file to change the bitmaps theres no way id skin this program i started looking at all the bitmaps and i think i broke my brain theres a lot of them I thought skinning g talk was a bitch id never skin this.

 

if you read the names it helps when it comes to finding out what they are, and what you want to change. try editing windows media player 11, there are well into the ten thousands of images in that whore...
