I think that's just all speculation in regards to higher spawn rates near parking lots. The parking lots in my town are dead, no pokemon spawn near those things =\

 

What? That has nothing to do with his post.

@ Justin I didn't even know things got different CP per level, doesn't this just make the game inherently imbalanced. Why bother to get anything other than Dragonites if this is true?

So I read it all, including the article that you referred to (that wasn't what I was linking in OP), and the only time I read them mentioning parking lots was when they mentioned that normal type pokemon are often find in various areas, one of which being parking lots. That makes sense to me...So wheres the credibility issue coming from? Not sure if I'm understanding this right

I didn't know that either - but I suppose it's rewarding players with stronger pokemon depending on their rarity. Dragonites can be pretty hard to evolve. In my area, there is only one spawn for them and it's in east sacramento (45 minutes away from us). People have definitely camped their spawn, but it must of taken them hours, and they'll probably not get many candies without camping the spawn again. Also, it can be balanced by a pokemon that is super effective against dragonite

I am pleased that vaporeon is a high tier pokemon though

 

I realized that my pokemon leveled up differently but I didn't notice that it was a static number set for each pokemon.
