This game's API is shit.

Location-based seems fun in concept, but I think it works better for events, or places where people can't fucking live, like state parks and memorials.

Hard to compete when little cunts live with 2-3 pokestops in constant reach and good spawns while I just such weedle dick a few times/hour.

I'll give it a month.

It has already passed both tinder and twitter in members. And is predicted to pass snapchat also soon.

I thought it wouldn't last long, but then again for the past 15+ years, pokemon has continued to make games.

I would not surprised if they release free/paid expansions like:

"pokemon GO Silver version" , "gold version" etc etc

 

Why the fuck would i go into nigger-infested city (only place to catch shit within 30mins) every day just to compete with someone who lives/works there.

Lime stop vading holy shit you're daft. Successful games cater to everyone, not certain individuals in the best possible area. Plenty of people went with the hype and downloaded it. In the weeks/months to come, especially when school starts back up there won't be any trips to walk around town all day. Will just be nerds without life fighting over the same gym every day, while making sure they send out their facebook candy crush invites.

Eventually everyone with even a sliver of social life will leave you to hope someone attacks your gym like

 

I think they'll release the following generations every few months to keep the game alive
