Ban Links

Many users are banned, this happens often and without respite seeing as so many people are here for a quick buck. But often it is difficult to find where and how they were banned. I suggest some tool, like clicking on their name or seeing where they were last mentioned to find the thread in which they were banned. It would help users greatly, some would say if they are banned you need not have any dealings with them, but many trusted users have vouch threads littered with hundreds of banned users, it would help me to look and see how and why they were banned.

 

If you search their name in the search bar you can usually figure out why they were banned.

 

You can ask about anybody in specific using this thread:

Where did [name here] go?

 

A lot of people dont know about that thread and its inconvenient for the mods to have to reply to that constantly. A small ban-check button or clicking on a banned person's name would be easy for all involved.

 

Sounds like a lot of work when it's as simple as checking their profile or using the thread PA mentioned. You don't have to be a mod to reply to that thread and most scam reports are view-able to the public. Google works too.

 

It would be a lot of initial work, but it would mostly just be a matter of redirecting. And the initial work would save a lot of work of people having to use that thread

 

Just google their sythe name with ''scammer'' behind it. Works 99% of the time

 

Works sometimes, it's what I usually do. But a lot of the time it doesn't

having to input data and request/submit this linked system would be more work than just answer questions people have concerning banned members.
