Is a Perm. Mute a long temp. Mute?

Many people have told me that perm. mutes can last only 6 months or only 1 year. Is this true? Because I am perm. muted and on August 9,2007 it will be a year since I have been muted.

Also, does anyone know how I can get out of a perm. mute? Because I'm desperate to get out of this mute.

 

No, This isn't true. Once you have a perma mute I am pretty sure there is no way to get out of it. I know this because My main that i quit was also muted and It has been muted since last year of june 5th. The mute has not been lifted.

 

Well I doubt it , but on August 9th I would send them a message saying something like it has been a year now please trust me I wont do it anymore. If I do then just perm mute me forver and ever. (Just something like that, it wont hurt if you try).

Yes it will be lifted eventually, I know a lot of people who were perm. muted and are not any longer. Although there is no set time, I would just suck up to Jagex if you wanted a better chance of it and report people to get noticed, and to show you've changed and won't do it again.

I tried that but doesn't that only work through the appeal system? Because I tried it through customer support and sent them a message through there on another IP.

a perm mute can be lifted. im not sure how it works. i know because elvemage isnt muted any more. ask him for help ^_^

 

Yes it is liftable, You have to bug the hell out of them though, then they get sick and tired of ya tell ya you've done you're time and bam ur back in Buisness but why wait a year loll u can make all ur stuff back ez in a year

no you can't send private messages... My old account hasn't been lifted from its perm mute and its been muted for almost 2 years now, but good luck trying to get it un-muted
