Transparency tutorial for ps

    Transparency tutorial for ps

    Okay so i see a lot of people have problems with transparency so i am compiling this guide.
    First off if you don't have IE7 or FireFox then get them.
    internet explorer 7
    firefox

    Ok now get the image you want to make transparent,
    i have this image of an orb with a blue background.

    Now open it in photo shop.

    Now select your image with lasso or w/e.
    [​IMG]

    Now cut it.
    [​IMG]

    Start a new project.
    [​IMG]

    Paste it.
    [​IMG]

    Now go to save as. And save it as a .gif
    [​IMG]
    [​IMG]

    Make these settings....

    [​IMG]

    And congratulations your done!!!!

    Why not simply say, use the Magic Wand Tool to select your background color, then hit "Delete" and making sure your canvas color is set to transparent, then save as a PNG, and transparency here we come.

    Most people don't get it and yes i am going to finish it now.

    Actually if you used it it did work cause yout image is transparent.
    Like i said in the first post download IE7 or FireFox, some browsers don't support transparency.
