Rune pure or Barrows pure

Im making my old pure into a pure wit def and im not sure if i should go for barrows or rune.....ermmm yeah so help me I am not going to make any mistakes and if you can give me some pros and cons of both ty

99 att 99 str 45 def would be so much fun lol. i say when you get bored of that go for 70, but that would be lots of work on your part

 

If your freaking rich and have so much money that u dont care what happens to it, Go barrows. if you are being a pure to pk/MAKE money go Zerker pure, not rune!

 

Yeah thats what i mean a zerker pure but the normal rune pure is 45 def anyways so rune pures are zerker pures lol (well most of them)

If you have money and you can spend time training make a barrows pure. Yet I prefer zerker pure with 99 att, 99 str, 45 def, 99 hp (yeah get 99 hp you will pwn). For this use Whip with rune defender, full rune and zerker. You should get 94 magic too to use vengeance. You will pwn with vengeance.

i would go with zerker, because they will hit higher, and rune isnt bad with torso, rune gloves, firecape ect..

 

Zerker doesn't it higher then barrows. Barrows hit higher then zerker. Sankitts there is no better pure then other they all have some good things and some bad things. For barrows they are only good if you have 99 att, 99 str and 70 def. For zeker pures they will pwn the barrow pures of the same combat level because they don't have the defence as high as barrow pures and more att and str. I would do a zeker pure and get 99 att, 99 str, 45 def, 52 prayer and 94 magic (this is really important if you really wanna pwn to use Ice Barrage and specially Vengeance from Lunar Diplomacy). If it was me I would get a zeker with that stats (I already have one but it doesn't have the stats and I'm only going to start pking with that stats). You are the one who choose but I have to things to tell you: if you do a barrows pure make sure you don't start pking if you don't have 99 att, 99 str and 70 def because you will get pwned if you have 90's combat (at 90's combat you should have 80 att, 80 str and 70 def); 2nd make sure you have money to get all your needs because both pures are expensive (of course barrows is more expensive but both are expensive).

 

Just make rune pure first, since you'll need 99 att and str anyway.

 

Wow, all this hype about needing 99 99 70... My barrows pure is 82 99 70 and puts 99 99 45 kids to shame. Rune pures are potent though, but not at 99 99 45. At around 80 atk 90+ str they are the best.

Vengeance isnt a must (if you don't use it at the right time kid's start safing up).

With barrows pures if you lose it hurts.Trust me I know. I've gone through prolly 5 sets of dh 8 torag legs (I use torso with torags legs), and prolly 2 sets of ahrims. None of these deaths are b/c of rune pures (dharock with vengeance is ouchie). See people are going to be like "you die alot". See I'm a pker dying is part of the game. Any real pker will tell you they die.

 

Get a rune pure with 99 att 99 str and 45 def. Get 94 magic too. Then pk this way. Pot up and then att the guy that you wanna att. Once you have like 30% of your life and your opponent doesn't have much life too use Vengeance and start spec with dds. If the hits that they do they will take life to you but to them too. Since they get 4 hits and you only 2 they will die first then you. Another thing make sure you always have 20's prayer if you don't pot then to make sure you don't lose Whip. Is better to die and not lose Whip that to lose Whip. You will mostly pwn everyone (except farcasters or if you don't know how to pk/don't have a good strategy and don't use the right things at the right time). Yet again here comes the topic of 99 99 45. It's not that great I repeat NOT THAT GREAT. Barrows def gives you an insane advantage in comparison to rune pure (not to mention the 25 more def lvl).

Vistro if you have a 99 99 45 I would gladly take it on with my 82 99 70. Shit you can stay non-skulled and I'll stay skulled. I tried the 99 99 45 on my main, and I hated pking like that (main is now 99 99 94).

Runes for 5 vengeances
Anti poison (In high lvl DM alot of people die due to 6 damage DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU)
17 turtle (Im pking for whips I might as well use good food, and those extra hp help in the long run)

Rune pure... You loose less stuff than with barrows pure.

45 defence all the way. Make sure you get it off quests getting barrows gloves.

 

i dont know rune pures own alot but at the same time u hit alot higher with barrows.......Rune pures hit high to but i still say barrows pures hit higher.....and also with vengance...
