Yeah I've had a Sigeli Fuchai 200W for about two months now and I've dropped the thing more times than I can remember. If I still had my SnowWolf 200W the thing would have shattered to pieces by now.

 

To be fair I've thrown my SnowWolf 200w all over the place. I abuse my mods pretty badly, I leave them on the passenger seat in my car or with keys in my pocket.

Dropped on concrete, fallen off of my desk, juice found its way inside many times, handled daily for hours. Yeah the metal is discolored now, and yes there are hairline scratches in the glass.

But damnit that mod still fires

 

Just got a Juul and it's pretty sweet. The pods are a bite expensive but the buzz is nice and clean.

 

I'd actually never heard of that before.

Looks interesting though, design wise. I'm going to pick one up as a little stealth vape and share my review.

I just got a Kangertech mini with 0.2 and 0.5 coils. Realy good kit and get lots of flavor.
Also has a RBA you can use with it

 

Picked up the new TFV8.

It's a tfv4 with an extra ml of juice capacity, nicer coils, better RBA section, bigger airflow, and Delrin chuff cap that's better than the tfv4.

I know I convinced a couple of you to rock a tfv4 and I think if you liked that you'll love this.

So I got my tfv8 and I must say... It's an amazing piece of hardware. Blows the tfv4 out of the water in both flavor and vapor production. Definitely recommend.

The only negative I have for it is the drip tip gets a lot hotter than the tfv4 did. Aside from that..... +100

 

Never tried vaping, nor see the point in it. I just see bunch of people ginueapigging a product that recently became popular. It took several decades to see the negative effects of ciggies, what if vaping causes something worse?

Up for some constructive argumentation on this subject if anyone's willing to do so.

Not hating on vaping, asking a serious question that concerns me.

 

Cigarettes contain thousands of chemical additives. You're inhaling burning plant matter and dozens of known carcinogens.

e-liquid contains a few things:

Vegetable Glycerin: FDA approved, food safe, plant derived.

Propylene Glycol: What fog machines and some inhalers use. Studied and widely regarded as safe to inhale.

Freebase nicotine: Addictive mild stimulant. Similar effects to caffeine.

Flavoring(optional): Safely used to make candy, baked goods, etc. No long term studies on inhalation have been done, although short term studies on the effects on cells in lab seem good so far.

E-liquid contains no carcinogens, no tar, no worrying additives.

No one is claming that e-cigarettes are 100% safe. Rather, that they're a healthier alternative to smoking.

Sure, some people will do it to "look cool." But the truth is they can help people quit. They're better for the environment, less odor, etc.

 

One of the things i like about ciggies is the afterburn on my throat, or simply the flavor of tobacco and the density of the smoke.
Is this achievable with a vape pen?

 

And of course the fact that it helps me think through a project i might be working on.
I'll be flowcharting or coding and if I get blocked i smoke a cigarette and usually come up with a solution to it, don't know if this is the nicotine or simply placebo, have you seen VP's do this?

 

The experience isn't exactly 1:1.

You can get thick dense clouds off an e-cigarette. You can get some harshness/throat hit if you go up in nicotine levels. You can get lots and flavors including some pretty great tobaccos. Imo it is very enjoyable, better than a traditional cigarette by far.

Have you ever taken a hit off one? The "wet smoke" vs the dry smoke of the cigarette makes smokers cough the first few hits usually. It can take some getting used to.

Probably not placebo, nicotine is pretty well documented to help memory and focus.

 

Yes I have, I tried some sweet flavors, reminded me of menthol ciggies, which I hate.

I'd probably look for actual tobacco flavoring if I were to switch.

They do have liquids with a normal ciggy % of nicotine right?


The point of me smoking from a VP is not to stop smoking. When I need to take a break or stop for a few months I just stop cold turkey, not seeing it as a quiting alternative.

 

All in all, I smoke to destress and relax myself, not to puff smoke, that's why I'm trying to figure out if a vape pen would work for me.

Absolutely, you can get many different nicotine strengths.

There are lots of tobacco flavors out there. You can also get juice that is extracted from tobacco so it comes with a more natural taste.

Yup, well you can get a nicotine buzz going so if that's what your after it'll be fine!

My Snow Wolf 200W with the TFV4 works like a gem. Still getting used to it but I can hotbox my car like it's my day job.
