Is the Speed Of Light Reachable...?

Maby they can make some sort of energy shield or something to protect us so we don't get crushed... It will work something like a space suit.

 

I think it actually will be reachable in the future.

Nope there isnt a material that will hold together when going that fast

 

It is reachable if you have a mass of zero. If you have any mass, any at all, you can only get infinitely close to it.

We don't really need to test it, as we have proven that as an object increases in velocity, it increases in mass. Reaching the speed of light would bring its mass to infinity, which would require infinite energy to achieve. Since there is not infinite energy in the universe, it is impossible.

 

Also has been tested. They were able to get to 99% of the speed of light but they didnt get to 100% even if they use more power.

 

i do think it will be in the near future. we already are going at speeds higher than sound.

 

Yes, it is reachable and it's a matter of time before it happens.
