I think we can figure it out by checking the view evidence for the people who are banned. Is there any? Do they show you? Can someone post pics of what they say on their banned account if they can?

I'm not sure whether I read this information here before everything got screwed up for the umpteenth time or on some other site but yae, Jagex sells gold. I cant recall the sites but, some sites that sell gold when you type in buy rs gold on google are run by j mods and tehy ban the players immidately after they buy gold. Also, ebay is another BAD place to deal with gold. You make a post about buying gold and boom ur gonna get banned instantly because of Jagex insiders. Atm, I feel as if duel areana is best way or my method that i used with my pure " both members, i enter my house, my pure enters my house. i lock my portal so no1 can enter it and i drop the gold and let my pure pick it up :p" Though i do think that duel arena is the best way for exchanges as that would comepletely annoy any programmer let alone a j mod :p due to all the work needed to do to ban them and lose money.
the logic of j selling gold makes sense if you think about it even though they are banning the people and losing 5X where x= number of persons banned. They sell 2 mil to 1 person for 20 bucks or w.e. they then ban the person. boom they make a net profit of 15mil and they can advertise that they care about the people who play runescape.

i figured out how they detect it

We have recently launched a new tracking system which means we can detect this sort of 'real life' trading very easily. We maintain a list of accounts which are known to sell items in breach of this rule, and watch who trades with them. This means if you buy an item off someone we are watching we will know about it.

here is my take on how they catch people buying mills. Jagex won't spend the money to go after a guy who bought 1mill gps, however they will go after a guy who bought 10+mills. I have bought gps for money for a while now and I always buy in 1 mill packet. It works well and jagex hasn't caught me yet.

Good theory, although, how can they possibly track over 10 million accounts at the same time? And yes I looked it up, Runescape does have about 10 million players, only 1 million are members.

i think they have an informant, thats just what i think, like say their informant said so and so was selling mills, well they would lock onto that guy and watch him and see who he trades and how much and what hes recieving. that sounds pretty good.
