~Rap Is Not Crap!~

now i hate rap, but i give the rappers credit for making up lyrics right on the spot most of the time. Heck not alot of people can do it. the thing is , rap is a poem that has music in the backround, the rappers have barely any talent.

unlike rock bands , they kick serious ass, each of the members have something special, like playing their instrument, and some even sing at same time.

the point is rap, is for the people who cant really play an instrument. if you can, and you like rap, good4u.

Some rap is good but most of it IN MY OPINION is junk because i hate music that just repeat repeat and repeat.

Ok hold on a sec here, I don't listen to that hardcore emo devil shit, you can barely understand what they are sayin other than screamin their lungs out. I listen to bands like Mettalica, Nickelback, Godsmack, Rob Zombie, maybe a couple songs by Slayer if I'm in the mood. That heavy metal junk, naa man. And I admit i do occasionally listen to some rap, like SnoopDogg. Really the only thing I don't like about rap is that some of the songs just send bad ideas to kids heads. Like those songs that make constant drug references or shootin people or robbin things, stuff like that. Also the oldschool rap is alright. So I guess just as long as you don't let the music go to your head its ok.

 

First of all, Fergie is not rap, I don't know where you got that from. Rap right now is shit, there are no real rappers out there, all that hip hop stuff is fake, you guys all here probably like 50 cent or those G-unit fags. I give them one thing, yeah they are smart, they make millions off little kids trying to be cool who listen to them and buy their tracks. To all the people who label rap as just ''wack'' go do your research and listen to some real rap artists, I'm talking the throwback ones, such as Big L who was the best rapper to ever grab a mic. These rappers now a days ain't rappers. Take Lil' Wayne he's garbage.. but people choose to listen to him, he has no flow no good punch lines, and his rhymes don't make any sense. Here's this next guy; Rich Boy..lmao. This guy brought out ''Throw some D'S'' and it was so garbage, you can't even understand half the song because he's talking like a retard. Furthermore, I don't blame people now a days for calling rap crap because it is crap right now, there are no good artists out there just a handful. These include; Nas, Jay-Z, Faboulous, Cassidy, Fat Joe.. and a few others which I can't think of. For all you people who just hate on rap, get a life, don't hate on stuff like that, I don't listen to rock or anything like that but I don't hate on it..find something else to do. And if your going to hate on it first listen to the real rap that use to be years ago. There's other rappers besides Tupac, and B.I.G., and in my opinion neither of them are that great.

Umm... Fuck girls in airplanes? Please. It obviosly takes no skill to be a rapper seeing as how the low lifes from atlanta and compton became famous from it. Rap has no point anymore. You dont have to be able to sing or anything to become a rapper. You just have to sound ignorant and read a poem off a piece of paper.

 

I like rap, I mostly love rap from the 90's with Dre, Snoop, Pac, Biggie, Eazy, and all that good stuff, I have alot of it. Current rap is ok but like Blizz said, it doesnt really have a point anymore, I mean like rappers mixing up kiddie songs (Chain Hang Low, I Know You See It) its just stupid. The only current rappers I enjoy listining to are The Game (have all albums and remixes), Three 6 Mafia, Rich Boy, Nas, Lil Scrap, and thats about it. I still listen to alot of new rap, I just dont enjoy it as much as what I listed above and defenitley as much as the last 80's early 90's stuff.

I like some rap songs. Whats makes a good rap song for me is:
1. Good lyrics, with an acctual meaning.
2. Structure, needs a balance if you know what i meen

 

First, go listen to some real rap, not this ''Rick ross'' bull shit, all these ''rappers'' nowadays who are not even ''rappers'' but hip hop artists are all fake, and bullshit. Before you talk go listen to the real rap that existed before, I'm talking throwback. Also; you saying that rap has no skill, an that you have to be ignorant..if it's so easy, can you spit some shit to me here? You must be really good since it takes no skill, and all you have to be is ''sound ignorant''. Furthermore, you saying that it's ''read a poem off a piece of paper'' is completely wrong, there are Freestyle rappers, who have the some of the greatest punch lines I've heard, right off the top of their heads.

You say that low life's from Atlanta to Compton become famous off it. Why are they low lifes? So your telling some of your rocker singers were not low lifes? LOL. Almost every artist is a lowlife before they actually get their big break. Your right about one thing, you don't need to sing to be a rapper, that could have been guessed by a 2 year old's iq though. Rapping has nothing to do with singing, it's like comparing hard metal rock with pop.

Rap does have no skill, we cannot debate that fact here. Anyone can make up rhymes. He would be able to disprove your point in a matter of seconds.
