Sythe's Version of Ebay

Well, with the market as it is... we need expanding. The rule for selling stuff from other games was removed..

Now, I suggest being able to sell Real Life items.

It would be hosted much like sythemills (Trademarked of Thorpe and Ughster. Sythemills.com) .. and have a system in which information is kept and such. To use it you must have that information hosted, and everyone MUST be verified (The VU system is owned and hosted by Zamorak.org), otherwise there could be a lot of problems.

Personally, I am VERY good at theft, and rarely can I find a place to sell my items illegally... . I think that if Sythe had something like this to sell real life items for real life money, runescape money, or whatever, then it would be a very good way to make an influx of members and cash. As I am sure many would use this.


A link would be provided, much like the affore mentioned sythemills, and it MUST be run by a VERY trusted member of the community... Spotless records and everything, because I would not trust my information to anyone else.


Then, after that is done, and you are signed up, when something is bought, the person who owns it, or appointed, equally trusted people ship it out to its destination. Since it is involving real life items.. there should be more trusted people in the middle..


Lots of kinks that need worked out, but it's possible.

 

You're also forgetting that they'res mostly 13-14 year olds, Me not included.

If they were to sell it, how are they going to ship it and stuff?

ebay requires too much.. Sythe would be easier to do it over.. And for RS money and shit.


Uhm, there's kinks, I know.. the easiest way would be.. buy stuff and not sell, or figure that out for yourselves... Lots of peeps have RS gp and not rl money to buy shit..

Yes, but it'd bring in more people. And no, it's not really too much work.. it's easily planned, and once planned, and people are appointed.. then it's easy.

 

I like the idea, but like previous people said, I just dont think that would work. You should try selling your gold then go buy stuff off ebay. Just a suggestion, don't shoot! =) oO

Probably wouldn't work. I think the majority of the forum are teenagers, including me. I'm not sure about it tbh.

It could work, but I have a few reasons as to why it wouldn't. It would take ages to program, probably PHP and another database etc, and loads of work would have to be put in place. I just don't think people will be arsed.

We already had real item trading, WAY too many scammers.
