Got Banned for Botting - Which I didn't Do

Hi all,

I don't know if this ever happened to anyone else but I got a perm ban for botting, but I've legit never botted on this account.

I've been playing insane hours on it, but that's because I have dual monitors and I can watch something to entertain myself.

Not appealable, either.

RIP legit skiller.

 

Happened to me before, maybe try tweeting @JagexSupport and ask them to take a look into your account?
If you're telling the truth then they'll probably unban you

 

Legit telling the truth. I was looking it up, and maybe using Autohotkey might have got me banned?

Because it's technically a "macro".

 

I've used that in the past, however all my scripts were 1:1 input/output - never had an issue! When I used a I think 1:12 output I was perm banned within a day :s

Hah, my main got banned a few days ago for botting as well and the only thing I can think of was the OSBuddy prayer plugin where you could left click d bones (because that's technically 1:3 ahk). The plugin is no longer featured.

 

I mean, for a few trips I used mousekeys. I'm thinking it's from me no-lifing it, honestly.

 

My ironman got banned a few days ago had over 1700 total :'(
I tweeted them but they give a automated shit respond

 

I didn't get that auto tweet, so hopefully that's a good thing.

 

I'm 75% sure jagex knows when you bot; they recently (within a few years) hired a bot scripter and he implanted their Bot Detection.
You will get banned in the long run.
So if you botted or used an auto clicker and macros which the last two are extremely stupid to use, you won't get unbanned I'd recommend making your accounts on your I.P and if you decide to bot on your main or something of value get a proxy after that and claim you were hacked you got better odds of being unbanned.
Also if you do bot don't use injectable bots because if maple story can ban someone for using injectable packet sniffers what do you think jagex will do with a injectable bot client

 

They're usually pretty helpful over twitter and you'll at least get it double checked, they're pretty stubborn with bans but keep trying until you get a response. GL getting unbanned

 

Gl if you weren't, however you probably had used a bot on your computer sometime for them to trigger the ban
