California to vote on Recreational Marijuana

Finally thats the only drug that i approve of being legalized.

 

That's awesome. I feel like once a good amount of states do this, others might realize that it's a good idea and vote on it as well(NJ please).

 

Personally I think this is a good thing for California, they've had medical for a long time (In 1996 they were the first state to enact such a measure). I've never been to Cali but have been told from family and friends that it's extraordinarily easy to find a medical patient who is willing to buy it for you. Voting for Recreational is probably a good thing for them because they can A) Keep better track of their Cannabis market B) Charge more appropriate taxes for recreational users & C) Hopefully use those taxes to aid homeless veterans and schools that need the funding.

I hope it passes too because then it sets a precedent for the rest of the country, something along the lines of; "Hey well California did it, if we want to be progressive maybe we should do it too..." Thankfully my state has medical already which means it's just one more step towards full recreational legalization.
