    does using classic on windows xp make it go faster?

    does Windows classic mode work faster than using the XP? ive heard this in some places and haven't figured if it work better yet and can you stil use games like WoW and cs?

    also how would you switch from xp to classic?

    Yes Classic Theme of Xp makes it goes faster ---> Right Click On My Computer ---> Advance ---> Performance Settings ----> Best Performance

    Oh yeah you can still play games it just runs faster because your computer isnt loading all the detailed themes

    No? Go to Desktop View > Right click on a empty spot > Properties > Then select windows classic theme at the drop down menu > Then hit Apply

    And yes it is faster

    Yea it is a hell of a lot faster. Basically frees up a lot of RAM? Since all the newer icons and toolbars and even the start menu for xp, takes up more then the windows classic view.
