Modify/Remove New Rule On Workers Not Allowed To Have Threads

So if you are unfamiliar with the new rule it states this:
    • If you work for a goldshop (regardless if they have a website or not) you are not allowed to make your own thread in the RS3 Buying/Selling, OSRS Buying/Selling, or swapping section
    Problem with this rule:
People like me who play runescape and have my own gold to buy/sell are not allowed to sell/buy the small amounts we deal with just because we do part time live chat for a goldshop.

People try to claim "Oh well if one worker makes a thread all others will follow and there will be 10 theads all just linking people to the original gold shop"

However, that's not the case at all as this is such a small issue I've never seen any company actually do this as they know a brand new "employee" account with zero vouches/posts made for the sole purpose of just getting more traffic wouldn't bring in that much extra sales unless it was using the companys name to get the sale or sending the people back to the goldshop website.. etc...

All the rule really does is hurt people like me that aren't quite big enough to have a massive website gold shop nor have the money or time to invest into paying for websites/livechat/advertisements.

Another problem with this rule is if a company really wanted to have 'multiple' threads open, they could and there would be no way of detecting it. A shop could just have employees open up threads and have employees make posts from accounts and never have them linked to the shop. Which, may sound like an unfair way to increase sales for the goldshop but it really wouldn't make an impact unless the account posting has some sort of reputation/vouches to draw attention to it. If the accounts never mentioned or referred anyone to the goldshop then, there would be no way of proving they work for a company either without the company directly showing that particular user works for them. Which, makes the entire rule only stop the honest workers who have their own gold to buy/sell from being able to while the real rule abuses can just sneak around the rule undetected.

My suggestion is to edit/remove this rule to help people out in my situtation. Making a rule just to "prevent" something as small as this from happening is unfair. I can't even get gold for myself a decent price anymore because I have to go to a website and BUY it at a higher price. It's not like doing part time live chat gets me free gold or something or enables me to buy/sell MY own gold. Basically, edit the rule to allow people like me who have had threads open way BEFORE working part-time to keep them open as long as I'm not sending people to the gold shop or vice versa. If its accounts are made that are clearly just blank accounts made for the purpose of having multiple threads for increasing traffic to a goldshop close them and lock those threads. It should be clear to see by the users previous vouches/threads if they actually wanting to sell/buy their OWN gold and involved in runescape and aren't employee blank account being made because they work for a shop.

I have told you countless times, there is 0 ways to enforce if people are adding you on skype and you say "hey i'm out of gold but head to x website, and i'll take care of you there for the same rate".

    No support.

In agreement with iHQ here, there is no way to make sure you're not just working for your goldshop and dealing under the table for them just for a cheaper rate. He's pointed out to you several times that you should let this issue rest :)

Modify/Remove New Rule On Workers Not Allowed To Have Threads

Had a staff discussion regarding this rule (again) within the last month.

    The motion was ultimately denied.

    So... denied.
