Its just, when I entered the intelligent discussion forum, I expected to see intelligent debating and discussion, not "jokes".

99.9% of the people on that site do believe that it is a joke, and they are not serious when they defend it. However, the founder of the site seriously believed that the Earth was flat.

 

This can sort've be explained with the teapot theory, but we have scientific backup for it. I'm sure that some idiot would have flown an airplane off the world by now. And shred, you have the same fervor as some of the people who try to explain religion, the same type of arguments, and you seem to be good at hiding your sarcasm by looking at these "arguments" people keep writing lol.
