1). Sythe. He owns the site, and many are convinced by his arguments on 9/11, the moon landings, and global warming being a conspiracy.

2). Steph. She's an Admin, and has authority. Members of Sythe who know the ropes know that she runs the show here.

3). Clash, he also runs the show with Steph.

4). Pen. A highly active global, from what I've heard. Keeps the fools in line.

5). SMR. Also a great global, he knows a lot about the technical work that goes on behind the scenes.

By influential, I'll assume you mean positively.

Pen and SMR: Neither turns away anyone who asks for their help. They are both incredibly productive and professional - but, more than merely doing the dirty work, they often step up and go beyond their positions to try and better the site.
Steph: Nothing needs to be said. She is the heart of the site, if Sythe is the mind behind it.
Clash: <3
Shin: One of the few with a strong enough presence for his absence to be noticable. Active in the community, and tireless in his efforts to move Sythe members to actual thought.

Curt - He's extremely asian and he's IRC pro I <3 him for that ( Sucks at CS ) haha
Steph - Hawt, again asian, very unbiased, been here since the beginning and ain't going away.
Shinoda - The loud-mouthed irishman, tells it like it is, doesn't sugarcoat anything to anybody, generally an all around kickass person
Clashfan - Good guy, has my back, sucks at Gunz but he's learning haha.

Hmm influential...

1. SMI, his graphical skills have taught me much.
2. Shin, had a MASSIVE influence on the music I listen to, and also influenced me to have a more strict and sturdy attitude towards modding, while still being fair.
3. x9, one of the reasons I hang out in the IRC, great friend, may not have stayed at Sythe without him.
4. Curt, kinda the same as x9, but also had an influence on me with creating website graphics and such, as I often do for him when I can.
5. Ragamuffin, dunno if it's an influence as such, but this guy really started me merchanting mills, and now I plan to do it on a larger scale, kudos to him.

(These are not in any order).

 

Well this is not inorder by most helpful because this people effect me about the same which is a lot.

1. Thorpe while many people might love/hate him he always willing to help you if you ask him nicely. He was very helpful to me while i first join and still is to this day. Keep up not letting other get to you.

2 SMR while many hate him due to his banning people, I found him to be really nice esp, taking hours out of his day to run ip check/ check proof on banning people. Thanks again for helping me, sythe.

3. Filefragg, While many normal user might not know him, i found him to be very nice in teaching me how to user gaim/xchat while i first had linux. Even last week when i had a keylogger, he helped me out alot by telling me what to delate, and getting me better antivirus.

4. Ha lets not forget viny my first friend on the irc, which always would help me out even before he was a mod. BEST of luck, keep up the good work.

5. Last is sin666/pen/smi which would always take time out of thier day to help ban people for me.

PS Shin altough I did not rate you, you always seem to make the irc diffent when you are there

 

well, right now mitz pops in my head... ahaha... mitz... all the mods, admins, and also i would like to say fire ant, he's pretty much the main man with gold

influential? hmm... i don't really tend to be influenced by others, but here we go...


1.ins4n3 m0nk- he shares many of my same opinions... he is NEVER a jerk when debating
2. Sythe- although his conspiracy theory on 9/11 is very informative, i have still not been convinced.
3.shakaka- he has altered my opinion of many things when i first joined sythe
4.monsieur noob- i really respect his opinion. i have seen his debates, and i have read many of his posts. he knows what he's talking about
5.reddogwwa -i dont feel like describing why

of course, deacon frost is in there, but he doesn't really "influence" me. but he IS my most respected member

these aren't in any specific order, but ins4n3 m0nk is definitely first

P.S. goodbye ins4n3 m0nk, your involvement in sythe has really made mine better. you are one of my favorite members, and you WILL be missed.

 

Just thought I'd say how he didn't flood his list with mods and admins, I respect that.

 

Just to clarify:

This is not about influence on the site, or about trying to suck up. This is just a way of saying who on this site has influenced you or the community the most (in your opinion).

 

Oh, in that case.

1. Deacon frost: Teached me alot about life, anything and everything. He helped me start out MM'ing.

2. Cele bow: Cool friend, some jerk scammed him 250m, gave me a whole new hate for scammers.

3. dpunK: Lots of stuff about religion and philosophy learned from him.

4. Shredderbeam: You are a great debater.

5. All the staff who care.

 

Here is my list, I picked people who were nice, helpful, great people.
