Help!

Every 2 hours, i can be surfing the internet. BAM, it's gone. Aim/msn stays on and works, but FF and IE don't. The only solution is to restart. Help?

 

right click then click repair?

Try control panel>networks connection. It should be easy then. And/or call you local internet subscriber.

 

Have you tried to work with task manager?

 

Well the problem is your NIC card or motherboard.

Go to a computer store and buy a NIC card there about $20 (make sure its PCI)

 

Well back before I switched ISP I would get on the internet then an hour or so later usually right away sometimes but mostly random. I had Norton back then too and then it would pop up and say I was being portscanned so I had to restart and it was the only way to do it. Im not sure if its the same problem but after I switched ISP it stopped.

 

Try and download The Newer Version Of IE that's what worked for me

 

possible temporary fix- Terminate explorer.exe then start explorer.exe

That might temporarily fix it...

How long ago did it start doing this? System restore maybe?

 

Start>Run>Type CMD and click run, then type ipconfig /release and after its release type ipconfig /renew
