Road to Range Tank.

After spending the longest time trying to decide what type of OSRS account to make, I decided to make a range tank. This is because range tanks are a good all round account that can do well in both PvP and PvM. I was never really a big fan of grinding Runescape, so this will be my first proper hand trained account, and I will be updating this thread frequently.

Best of luck to you! Currently have a range tank that is 92 Range and 94 Mage. Taking a break from it because I wanted more versatility and started a Zerker up! Range tanks are cool accounts to say the least and like you said are great in both PvP and PvM.

Also agree with this 100%. 1 regret I made on my tank was not fully questing 44 prayer. If I were to go to b gloves I'd be forced to go to 52 :/

If you were going for a strict PvP build I'd recommend 99 range/hp/mage 75 def 44 pray IMO

Thanks guys! According to a combat calculator 52 prayer only increases my combat by 1 level , are there any other reasons to not get 52 and stay 44?

 

When you do get atk/str, make sure to get 75 atk 73 str, for that 148 total and have access to sotd, etc.

 

You might want to join the cc 'v public', its the clanchat of the clan Vengeance (rune pures and tanks!)
