Introduction

Well my second guide , I made this guide with some information of another mercanting guide and mage experiance calc . And help of my Friends ( And babelfish because my english sucks ) This one can also be found on Old MM Makers


The Average Prices


Yew Longbow - 600gp -
Nature Rune - 305gp - 320
Law Rune - 325gp - 350hp
Soul Rune - 400gp
Fire Rune - 15gp
Body Rune - 10gp
Water Rune - 20gp
Feathers - 5gp


Training Methods


1) Alching Yew Longbows.

This is the most comment way of training mage , But u will need a good bank account to do this Trick

Requirements: 55 Magic, 1 Nature Rune, 1 Yew Longbow, Fire Staff.
Average XP /hr: 60.000 (60K) (~920 Spells)
Loss Per Spell: 117gp
To find an estimate of the total loss, multiply the XP you need with 1,8.


2) Alching Feathers

This method is rarely used, only just by people who don't mind losing cash and can't be bothered buying bows. This method is not recommended unless you're stupid.

Requirements: 55 Magic, 1 Nature Rune, 1 Feather, Fire Staff.
Average XP /hr: 65.000 (60K) (1000 Spells)
Loss Per Spell: 320gp
To find an estimate of the total loss, multiply the XP you need with 4,92.


3) Cursing /w Mud Staff

This method is recommended if u :
1.Have lots of spair Time ( Or quit School)
2. If u are poor
3. If u arent both , It means u are an idiot

Requirements: 19 Magic, Body Runes, Mud Staff.
Average XP /hr: 30.000 (30K) (~1050 Spells)
Loss Per Spell: 10gp
To find an estimate of the total loss, multiply the XP you need with 0,35.


4) Cursing /wo Mud Staff

This method is recommended if you are low magic or F2P.

Requirements: 19 Magic, 1 Body Rune, 2 Water Runes, Earth Staff.
Average XP /hr: 30.000 (30K) (~1050 Spells)
Loss Per Spell: 40gp
To find an estimate of the total loss, multiply the XP you need with 1,38.

5) Stunning

This method is recommended if you need fast XP and don't mind wasting some extra money.

Requirements: 80 Magic, 1 Soul Rune, Mud Staff.
Average XP /hr: 95.000 (95K) (~1050 Spells)
Loss Per Spell: 400gp
To find an estimate of the total loss, multiply the XP you need with 4,44.


6) StunAlching
My friend told me this method , I never head about it.

This is a somewhat advanced training method. You get VERY fast XP and it's cheaper than just stunning. The downside is that you have to pay full attention to rs and it gets VERY tiring. To do this, simply do an alch right after you stun. This way you can do them almost together. At least there's no wait in between the spells.

Requirements: 80 Magic, 1 Soul Rune, 1 Nature Rune, 1 Yew Longbow, 5 Fire Runes, Mud Staff.
Average XP /hr: 125.000 (125K) (~800+800 Spells)
Loss Per Spell: 400gp
To find an estimate of the total loss, multiply the XP you need with 3,81.

7) Camelot Tele

This method is recommended to get 45-55 Mage for rich people. Other than that, it's not recommended as it is very expensive for the amount of XP you get.

Requirements: 45 Magic, 1 Law Rune, Air Staff
Average XP /hr: 65.000 (65K) (~1200 Spells)
Loss Per Spell: 325gp
To find an estimate of the total loss, multiply the XP you need with 5,85.

Nice. I always use the first method.
Though I buy Yew longs 575 ea and Nature Runes 300 ea so you have a loss of less then 100/per alch. {97/per alch to exactly}
But It is a very good way to train your mage. (my Favourite)

alching yew longs, you CAN make profit and this is how i make money.

you NEED 70 fletching.

buy x flax@100 ea.---> then make x flax into x bowstrings.
buy x yews@300 ea.
buy x nats@ 300 ea.

xhigh alch @784 ea
--------------------
84 gp profit ea.

first like 5 the text is hard to read

there are amny other means of high alchemy other then yew longbows wich are much more effecient in money

how do you only do 920 spells an hours when alchemy on yew longsbows but 1k an hour on feathers? there exactly the same spells

heres what you can update

nats 300-320 ea

yew longbows 550-620 ea

green dhide bodies get 4400 ea alchemy for 4680 = loss of 20k

mage longbows (unsure of prices) less loss then yews

if your going to include high alchemy upon feathers dont forget using spell on the same element wizards south of falidor yes thats right you heard me wanna hear how it works?

wear full of the best ranger armor you can get the best mage def bonus you can wear a recommended airstaff i shall explain how to do it using wind strike

ok wield youe equipment and set your autocast to wind strike attack the air mage. your wind strike will never hit him

can be used with any other spell as long as it is of the same element
ex. fire wave on the fire mage
ex. earth blast on earth mage ext..

 

Its an estimated ammount , when i do 920 alchs i come to a clear ammount of ur loss , when i do 1000 feathers i also come to a clear ammount , I am yust trying to make it easy for u

Nice guide . I will try it on my pure mage when i get 55 mage . its only 51 currently

 

how bout this 1k steel pl8ts 800k 1k nats 300k fire staff and alch and make 100k profit
steel pl8ts are hard to find and r really fast exps and money

make your own nats i say buy yew longs then alch u get around 70gp profit per alch and get runecrafting exp up
though you need to use the abyss ofcourse
