Blockage

I was wondering if you guys are still blocking UK ip addresses or something becuase this place is down 70% of the time i try to get on.

 

They're DOS attacks, they come and go, we can't do anything about it.

It wasn't, the originating topic was about the UK block. So in fact, no rules were broken, don't backseat mod when you're wrong in the first place.

But to be on topic.. isn't there some sort of DDoS protection software out there, or is it a rumor?

 

I think they got rid of the UK ban, cos i seem to get on Sythe all the time, instead of that stupid 404 error.

Wel, we CAN AND SHOULD do something about DDos attacks, the staff is working hard to overcome it, and they are starting to manage. search button back

 

Whatever it is its pissing me off every hour i get kicked off and says the page dosnt exist.

 

The staff can't do anything about the attacks, Sythe himself can barely do anything about it. It's all dependant on the server technicians, and how fast they can either reroute the attacks or block them.

 

I think the uk block is back on, my friend tried and he got the 414 error. Im not sure though.

 

I thought I remembered that only certain parts of the UK are blocked....
