    Need Java Help [Javac]

Please don't post the thread to the stickies, beacause I have seen them, and I have read them.

I have recently purchased a Java programming book, and I am creating the classic HelloWorld.java application. I have wrote the code using notepad, yet I cannot compile when using Command Prompt. I recieve this error:

My application is saved under "HelloWorld.java" and it is located in "New Folder".

    I have J2SE Development Kit 5.0 Update 10, J2SE Development Kit 5.0 Update 11, J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10, and J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11.

These are my variable values for each variable:

1)Classpath in "User variables for user"
    2)CLASSPATH in "System variables"
    3)Path in "System variables"
I have a feeling that my variables are set up wrong, please let me know what is wrong. If you would like to walk me through it, you can add my msn also.

If you are able to get it set up for me, I will pay RS gp.

Also, don't say to restart your computer or anything idiotic like that, I have already rebooted my computer numerous times.

m8 first of all u need to knw where the file u want to compile is. so say it is in newfolder, which is on ur desktop...then open up command and type in cd desktop\newfolder. and what you want to compile is called helloworld.java then type in c:\java\jdk1.5.0_10\bin\javac helloworld.java -if u have a different jdk then put that one in.

What you need to do is get a good compiler and Development enviornment. I suggest
    -NetBeans
    -JCreatorLE

These are both free and are great. Also they tell you what the problem is. Also maybe you could post your code wich then we could check if you have writen it correctly.
