This is my way to quickly get your defense level up on a new account and my first guide.

So, you've started an account and you know eventually you will want to get that full rune armor and you also know that means youll need 40 defense. So...Why not go ahead and get that out of the way? Heres how to do it quickly. Its as easy as 1-2-3!

    1. To start get you attack level to 5 and strength level to 3-5 but no higher!
    2. Train defense to 15.
    3. Now it gets easy...go to the monks just west of Edgeville. Make sure your attack mode is on block or your defensive option. Now attack a monk. Since the monks heal themselves while fighting, your attack level is low and your defense is high, your fight will be very lengthy...most likely several hours or more! As long as your defense level is about 15, you have a VERY low chance of being killed. At this point you can even leave you computer. Come back later and you will be happy to see you advanced multiple levels.

Note: When leaving your account in a fight for an extended period of time I don not recommend wearing valuable items...there is always a chance something could happen.

Now you have that defense level you wanted and you didn't have to do anything! Now you can level out your other levels and buy that rune you wanted!

Randoms dont occur in combat...at least not often.
