Is Runemetrics Dangerous?

For RWT Gold Buyers, Seller, and for Botting, is having the RuneMetric feature dangerous?

I'm asking because I got an account from a friend who quit that still has a 3-month Runemetric subscription. Seeing as data for Runemetric accounts is being specifically stored by Jagex, do they actually analyze the data themselves?

For those that don't know, Runemetric is a recent feature from Jagex where you can view your wealth gain and xp gain in statistical form

Therefore would RWT or Botting immediately compromise the account?

 

Really? No one can give some insight into this?

 

I am pretty sure Jagex already has some form of metrics implemented for RWTing and Botting policing purposes even before they decided to charge users with this subscription.

So my guess is, even without this subscription Jagex still has the statistics of your wealth and xp gain. This is simply made available for your viewing with subscription.

 

The follow-up question then would be if they have all that information, and can detect unusual xp spikes or sudden wealth increase/decrease, how RWTers according to this forum rarely get caught.

 

I mean, how would these readings affect stakers? If my wealth randomly increases because I won a 1b stake they can't jump to "HE'S RWTing!!"

 

In my opinion would be that Jagex has always had this implemented, just not publicly.

Think about it, along with the promotional spins, keys, armor overrides, etc. They'd find a way to monetize their exp/gp gain tracker that they've used to catch rwt and botting.

 

Jagex doesn't have the manpower or the care to individually monitor accounts. This data could be evaluated automatically, but it already is. Runemetrics doesnt introduce some cutting-edgenew technology for them. Its just a cool feature for the players.

 

Only players see it.

 

Others cannot see that's right. ^^^
