Staking Help..

Nothing to really go into detail. Don't get me wrong I make Irl money off a game I can't complain. Especially when I'm only 15. I have made about 1.5k-2k From staking, and maybe spent $400 to buy gp after I stake (Which I lost) And (which usually happens when I win bills). I want to enjoy the game but every time I have money I HAVE to go to the Duel Arena. I am ranked 87 in Bh (2.5k+ kills) Enjoy pking, and have a lot of friends that support me on rs, and even offer me money. Now I am cleaned, and I can buy gp, but I don't know if I can control my self with it. When I get Into a bill I feel like I can't get cleaned. Any advice on knowing when to stop? Or just staying away from the arena so I can stop getting stressed out when I lose Big. Would help Alot Thanks. I just wanna enjoy the game.

After doing something for so long, and enjoying it. It's hard to let go, gambling is one of the BIGGEST addictions out there, and it can be greatly unhealthy. Honestly, stopping altogether for the time being may be good, or try to limit yourself to a certain amount. bring how much you are willing to risk, and won't be upset with. After you lose, then go and don't take more money.

 

its very hard to quit going to the duel arena. maybe invest into a item or something or go skill training. if you end up going to duel arena take a certain amount out if u lose leave!

 

Just taking a certain amount works unless you're an addict and run to the bank for more when you lose it.

Depending on how bad the addiction is, you'll never profit because no amount is enough for you and you'll eventually run out of variance and get cleaned.

 

Just win and it isnt a issue

OT: If you can't seem to control yourself, counseling could be an option as this could affect your personal life. It's an aspect of your personality, not just a video game like most people think.

 

This happens to me a lot, I make a lot of money and sell it off. I either then buy it back to stake it again or I just gamble it IRL on fruit machines, I lose a lot of my profit made from the game from gambling and I would advise anyone who can to not get into the habit. It is difficult to stop because once you get to a certain point, you won't want to stop, you probably aren't even enjoying the game at this point, you just like the gambling aspect and due to being only 15, you aren't old enough (luckily) to go into bookies and casinos. If I was you I'd set myself milestones maybe, try a week without gambling see how much you make from things such as your rental service. You will be a lot more successful if you overcome your addiction.

 

If you know you have a problem with gambling then just don't fucking gamble. It's as simple as that.

 

I was addicted to gambling for so long, after some time you end up getting bored. Try playing games other than runescape for a change

I always loved gambling and the first 2-3 years I gambled no matter if it was in the casino's, online casino's or Runescape staking I always seemed to have an insane winning rate. I went to the casino or went online with $25 and cashed out with atleast $300+. With online casino's I had the most luck of all which is weird, because imo it feels like it's something that should be rigged or w/e. I have no idea how I did it, but I was always winning. I sometimes had weeks in which I made $1k+ with a starting amount of $20. And I never invested more than $20, also never had to. My luckiest day I had was when I was playing cards with mates, I was winning every single round. We kept on drinking and switched to board games. I won every single game aswell. And everyone was like your luck today is insane we should hit the casino. It was late though so I decided to follow their advice and turned a $35 investment into roughly $2k.

About a year ago I kept trying to invest $20's everytime and I kept losing it. No matter how low my target was I didn't seem to win anymore. Including staking I lost quite a bit and realised that my luck might be over somehow. Had to stop gambling, because as I started to notice. It's a losers game in the long run.

Just keep that in mind: "It's a losers game in the long run".

 

Maybe like the guy above just take a certain amount per day or week and once you hit a certain amount of profit then stop. I should probably take that advice too lol.

don't even think about doing that, it always starts small and innocent and gets bigger and bigger by time until you fuck up very badly, just avoid it at all (not even 1$ worth of gambling). Been in a same situation like you
