Well I tried offering 13 mil but everyone else was offering that amount too and so I thought if I offered above usual it'd increase my chances of being able to get hold of it

CoolSteve, when someone is buying an item you have, and they are buying it for more than expected...you usually don't ask them to lower the price. You sell it to them and be happy! ...duh?
