~ultimate Guide To Hunting~

hunting! this is one of my personal favourite skills, and am going for 99!

heres the guide!v^~1-9~^v^

Here we go. Right off the bat, get 3 bird snares and head to the jungle. This is where to start. Go to the south-eastern part and catch Crimson Swifts. You need 29 for lvl 9. Some people say to go to Golden Warblers at lvl 5. I personally dislike the desert. If you want to you may. Then you need 12 Crimson Swifts and 13 Warblers. You only need to catch 4 more birds doing the first way, and is probably faster because the bird is lower leveled.

^v^~9-19~^v^

From 9 to 19, you should catch Crimson Swifts. They are found in the woodland area. You need 50 of them to get 19 hunting. When you reach 15 hunter, you can catch Ruby Harvests. If you want, set up your trap for Crimson Swifts and catch some Ruby Harvests. Then, come back and take the Crimson Swift off the snare and set the trap back up and get some more butterflies.

^v^~19-29~^v^

Now, head back to the jungle where you caught the Crimson Swifts and go to the far south-west. Set up your traps and catch Tropical Wagtails. Once you get 20 hunter, use 2 traps. You can head to 43 hunter with these or switch over to salamanders. You need 85 Wagtails for 29 and need 489 for 43 and 749 for 47.

Ok, now you have 2 options. Either stay with Tropical Wagtails or go to Green Salamanders. You must have completed Priest in Peril to get to the salamanders. If would be helpful to have a druid pouch because there are ghasts around. Once you get 40 hunter, use 3 traps. You need 253 salamanders for 43 or you can go straight to 47 with them. Then you need 416

^v^~43-47~^v^ At 43, go back to the woodlands. Enter the falconary and rent a falcon for 500gp. Catch 238 spotted kebits and achieve 47 hunter. If you want, keep a few and get a spotted cape.




^v^~47-57~^v^

Some people might think I am missing Chinchompca*, but I'm not. They are bad xp. Now, you must do Orange Salamanders. They are in the desert by the Golden Warblers. You must catch 572 of them to get 57 and 772 for 59.

^v^~57-59~^v^

Skip this step if you went from 47 to 59 with Orange Salamanders. You must go back to the Falconry. Get another falcon but this time catch Dark Kebbits. You need 339 of them for 59. Take a few furs and make some gloves of silence if you plan to be thieving or making some cash.

^v^~59-99(A)[Cash]~^v^

From 59 to 63, do Red Salamanders. You need 444 for 63. At 60 you can set 4 traps. At 63, do Red Chimchompc*s till 99. They can bring in around 100-300k at high lvls. They are located in the jungle and are all over the place. You need 47,796 of them for 99 which is 28.6 mil if you sell for 600 each and 33.4 if you sell for 700 each and 38.2 mil at 800 each.

^v^~59-99(B)*Xp}~^v^

If you want fast xp, go from 59 to 67 with Red Salamanders. You need 1,104 salamanders for 67. From 67 to 99, do Black Salamanders. They are by what most people call the hillz. You need 41,074 of em for 99. Some people are scared of wildy -.-, then stay with Red or Orange Salamanders. Some reports show that Orange are faster, but require waterskins.

^v^~80-99~^v^

Try any of the ways above to get 80. Then you set up 5 traps. Go to the jungle and catch Red Chinchompca*. You need 41,692 Chimpchompc** from 80.

Helpful but needs piccies. And Hunting is as boring as hell until you can get red chinos lol. Nice though =] 7.1 / 10. Get pics and it'll be 8.1 =D

 

sorry guys bout no pics. i would have posted em but im not memb anymore :S plus im lvl 3 skiller on rs so it would take a while to get to all hunter areas

 

Without pics is fine. I'd say 7.5/10 im using your 80-99 method atm =]
