Who thinks it is right for Stephen Harper and Canada to help out Bush in the war.

In my opinion, NO! and YES!. "No" because Canada is a peace keeping country, they don't fight. And "yes" because, Canada is helping out a pretty strong military army. If we were under attack that would mean Bush would probably help us out.

The U.S.A is probably the second strongest army aside from North Korea. Now, as I said in my other thread. The U.S.A attacked Iraq because they thought they had weapons of mass destruction. Speaking of weapons of mass destrcution. North Korea has a shit load of that including necular bombs and e.t.c. However, I do not like saying Canadian soilder killed.

 

Well here's what i think:

Yes: Well let's just say that one day, Russia suddenly declares war on us (Canada), telling Britain and America that they won't harm them. That they will help them trade and flourish.

Now they'll think about it and say "well since Canada never helped out any needy countries, it's time for them to get their just deserts."

We'll be in some trouble then won't we =\

And no: Well the Middle Eastern war-torn countries are half-way around the world for one thing, and present no concern for us. Also, it's time for them to stick up for themselves. We've been fighting their battles for too long...It's time they fight back. So what if Iran defeats Iraq (Or vice-versa. That's just an example), Iran will gain another couple 100s of miles to call their own. Big deal.

Well, those are just my opinions. Please don't flame me if you disagree, just post here and tell me your side.

And to answer your main question, I would still say yes. America really doesn't need our help, but it's the thought that counts

 

Well, did Iraq want to fight up? the answer is no. We helped BUSH. So if Russia for an example like you used attacked us (CANADA). The US army would have to help us for sure. We helped them and still are at the moment. did'nt we? I just don't want Canada to get into war period! If so we have the Amercian army behind our backs.

 

I know, I'm just saying that if we didn't help Iraq/Other countries, America might just think that we deserve it.

And as a side note: I don't think North Korea has actually used WMDs as much as Iraq has... and their nuclear program is fairly weak. It'd help if China could finish convincing them to halt their nuclear programs, but that's hard for China considering that have one themselves lol.

They didn't just have them, they used them... on more than one occasion throughout the 80s. They made agreements to destroy the weapons along with their production yet they refused to allow inspections to verify this was done.

Canada, shouldn't be in Iraq. You guys need to keep your priorities within your country... We started this shit we should end it. Along with england of course.

If N. Korea didn't know that we have interception systems like NORAD america would be blown off the face of the world, and they know on any given date England and America could give China the go ahead and China would run over them.
