Username Change

When a user changes their username, I believe that their previous name will be in their user title for 6 months?

How about an option of permanently seeing their previous usernames on their profile somewhere. For example...

Hyperlink the number (e.g. in the image, 9) to link you to the second image (a list of all username changes and the date it was changed).

This way once the 6 months (or whatever it is), people are still able to see a users previous usernames.

This could be helpful if a user spends some time away from Sythe and comes back and a lot of users have different usernames, just for recognition.

I don't think this is necessary with the thread I linked being in existence.

 

There's a system/mod for name changes in Xenforo, I suggest we use that - it logs everyone's name changes too and I believe there's an option to have them listed on profiles. Way easier than what we have going right now

 

Bogla isn't on there, so I'm sure it's out of date and not regularly updated.

 

Noticed a few others were missing after I posted. I'm not opposed to the idea as long as it isn't shown on the postbit.

But anyways, I don't think this is entirely necessary. IIRC, you only get 1 major name change, so it's not like there would be an onslaught to remember. Most members just remove numbers and whatnot anyways
