Favorite Runescape year?

i enjoyed 07 when people was rioting about PKing. was never good at pking although i enjoyed back in the days when people pked at varrock and it wasnt about egde and how you click your food and shit

 

2010 was my favorite. The graphics started getting good, but the gameplay itself was the same simplistic, but fun format.

I still play Legacy Mode til this day.

 

I started Runescape in 2001. I've got to say I miss the days of Falador merching. You'd walk into Falador World 2, and sometimes lag from all the text flooding the screen in desperate sales pitches. I remember when herbs used to be called "Unids" because they were unidentified, you never really knew what you were buying until you used your Herblore skill to see what you had.

 

Wow some of these comments just time warped me. I forgot all about the major clan wars and horrible updates. I remember loving BH craters. Killing rwt'ers for sara and zammy gear f2p. I still remember the f2p cc I pked with (Medkarn) I want to say the other one was (purplemage) or some shit.

 

Definitely pre-GE 2007 and 2011. I miss running around like a pleb with full rune with rune chainbody and showing off my armour and matching rune scimitar in the Lumbridge general store.

I remember 2011 as the year dicing was rife and dicing friendchats were virtually spawning everywhere in the GE. Enjoyed myself both as a participant in the drop parties and at some point, a host.
