Worker paypal

Hey everyone, I opened up a little goldshop, hopefully it will do well, but it cannot progress much if I cannot create worker paypal's without id apparently.

I set up and managed users, but now it needs ID, do I need to take id in order for someone to work on my site and use a "worker" paypal?

How do other gold sites avoid using id? It said something about EU regulations so this may not be valid in us?

Any help would be great thanks

 

I think it means your ID. I've been apart of 3 paypals as a worker, and I've never had to submit my ID for that.

not sure what you mean. However, what I will say is to get a verified paypal you need ID, this means limits lifted i believe, especially if you are a business account. They have anti fraud limits for people who haven't uploaded their ID, this is set at circa £1700 a year AFAIK, and you will not be able to continue transactions when you get past this. am i on the wrong topic completely here?

 

I think you're correct. If you reach €1800 received /year Paypal will ask to upload ID to lift limits. You can ignore it but if you reach €2500 you will be forced to confirm identity or you won't be able to use your account

 

This pp didnt have anything sent from or to it no where near its limit, I will confirm my id and hopefully that will solve everything

 

Not applicable to US based accounts i believe, taken from my experience i have not nor neith any "worker" accounts associated with the business account.

Verifying with PP is always the way to go though

 

That is so strange. Before I ever verified my account with a credit card/bank/ID/phone (mind you, I just verified it with an email), I was sending and receiving a fair bit and was never asked for any sort of confirmation of anything.

The only time I ran into an issue was when I tried to redeem a paypal mycash card that was bought out of state; that is when they asked for an ID and such.

 

I had everything confirmed, bank account, I uploaded ID , bank statement but when I reached that threshold they still asked me to upload more

Aren't these eu laws? I swear it only applies for people living in the EU only, but could be wrong.

 

I have had to create multiple Worker's PayPal and all I needed was firstly, full verification as a user. Then, you need to upgrade your PayPal to a business account in order for you to create worker's PayPal.

That means you need to register your business entity officially with your government and show PayPal the proof of registeration.

This also means you need to file your business income to the authorities and they WILL check with PayPal for tax evasion. No way around to do this shadily.

 

Correct to an extent... first of all everyone needs to understand that this is outside of the U.S regulations through PP. Take it from my experience with U.S based accounts, i file my taxes as a sole proprietor over my services, nor have i ever uploaded an ID to PP.
