    Why do people buy accounts?

If you're buying it from a highly trusted seller, it's fairly unlikely that the account will get recovered, however there is still a possibility. And people buy accounts because they're simply too lazy to train accounts themselves I guess?

    Why do people buy accounts?

I've bought and sold many accounts on here and other places, I guess it all boils down to the individual. The ones I sold, I never used anymore and Had better accounts to replace them with so recovering them was never a thought in my head. As far as buying goes I always go by "if its too good to be true, it usually is"

    Why do people buy accounts?

The reason why i think people buy accounts, including me, is that we dont have the time to really grind especially if you are working. But the nostalgia and just general gameplay of Runescape is always appealing, to me at least, so much so that i am willing to fork out $$ for someone to help me get an account that i like or help me powerlevel to a particular stat. Sense of achievement (false) i guess.

Yeah you just gotta look for the right seller. Don't rush into buying accounts because the price is cheap always remember it can be recovered.
I guess people don't have time to grind or don't enjoy doing it.

    Why do people buy accounts?

People who want to get back into OSRS/RS are typically the people who buy accounts, as it can be intimidating and demotivating to start from scratch again. I would say there are a lot of scammers out there, but also there are a lot of legit guys.

    Why do people buy accounts?

I know for me, the reason that account sales make sense is due to the fact that previously in RS2 before it went EOC, I was an adolescent and able to devote 10 hours a day to playing and building my characters. Had a maxed main, Zerk, tank etc etc.
Then when EOC came out, I quit.
When OSRS surfaced, I was like 19 and had a career.
It was at around this point that I joined Sythe.
I was excited that my childhood pass time was back, but it was obviously at a cost. I was reset to a level three.
    With my current lifestyle
-I own a company and travel the country doing sales meetings, tracking production, recruiting Etc etc- I don't have hundreds of hours to pour into leveling the accounts.
I play mostly for PVP, so as long as I buy from trusted users, buying accounts is an amazing option for me.

    Why do people buy accounts?

Like most above have said, you need to find a trusted seller.

It's a vicious circle really, people say for example my accounts are too expensive as others sell for cheaper, however it's most likely that if they were any cheaper it's most likely from someone trying to make some quick money and recover the account later on.

Your always better paying that little bit extra from someone trusted, and personally from the hours it does take to create those accounts, it's a fair price usually.

there are people who are trustworthy .and you have people with bad intentions. I think there are more good people than bad people.

    Why do people buy accounts?

This pretty much sums it up, I can't think of anything else as to why someone would purchase an account. I mean realistically the accounts being sold for $200 etc have a value of $700 if you were to calculate the amount of GP put into skills and what not, but yeah don't see people selling or buying for that much at all.

Get to know the buyer before you purchase just so you know what they are like if they seem like they could be legit then i guess just go with your gut

    Why do people buy accounts?

Honestly, I'd say around 98% of the threads popping up in the selling section are scams.

Why would someone put up an account with 1800 total and let's say 99 slayer for 200-250m? They literally spent way more time and money making that account, it feels like it's literally filled with people who lost their bank looking to rebuild through an easy way.

I would never buy accounts but if I had to, it would definitely be from c0ngs, divica sales, and those trusted people selling maxed mains/odd stakers because they wouldn't run their reputation for a single account that's not worth as near as their earning potential is to recover it.

    Why do people buy accounts?

I personally would not buy an account - the risk of losing money outweighs the short time fun you get
