Avoid being scammed by firecapers

Here is a little guide that might might help avoid being scammed by people who will try to get you a firecape.

1.) It may be risky letting someone with a low post count do it, so do this at your own risk.

2.) If you want to be safe, make them supple everything. Most firecapers will just take your items. (dont get me wrong, some people are honest but some are not)

3.) If they supplie, Demand to see the items there putting on your account, if they say i still have to buy, say ok ill wait until you do.

4.) If they are pushing you, like rushing you to give them your details dont, They are scammers.

5.) use hypercam to record everything you guys talk about, take screenshots of you giving money etc. so if they scam you can report them.

6.) ask for vouches, ask some moderators if they have ever scammed, search there name to see if anyone has reported them.

7.) If they pull the scam where they demand your bank pin or they will get you banned, DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK PIN, In the case they did get you banned, when you appeal it select the option that says someone else was on my account, jagex will look at the ip address and they will unban you.

8.) Now if your sorta poor and you use crystal bows, use them up a little bit, because when there at full people can trade them, so that means you would loose your crystal bow which is about 1 mill, and when there wore down a bit like 9/10 they cant trade.

9.) And last but not least, If they do get the fire cape but demand a higher price that you agreed on, Dont pay them. they are just trying to push you around. and they will end up accepting the cash you agreed on.

Those are just my tips from previous experiences with scammers scamming me when i ask them to get me a firecape.

1.) NOT TRUE, the adio, one of the best FCers EVVVVER had a very low post count when he started. He still has a slightly small post count.

8.) WRONG, you use it once and they are untradable, it goes from new crystal bow to full crystal bow.
