This is somewhat of a follow up to my last thread, http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=202800. Last time I requested that the Scar forum needed some mods of there own, I was shut down saying that there were already programming mods as well as Starblaster helping out. Now this time, I decided to do some research. Since the rollback I have a list of all of the admins/mods that have posted in the Scar forum. Some of these posts are more helpful/useful than others but I still list each post that was made. This is by no means flaming people that have no posts and I hope that it is not taken that way. Most mods have no Scar knowledge, and I'm aware of that. That is why we need some Scar mods to begin with. Admins Sythe, Steph, FileFragg, Unknown, Vic, Annex- No posts. (Left out names I had already mentioned or that had no posts) Wow Sucks has made 38 posts. Conman3030 has made 1 post. Dingo212 has made 1 post. In total, that is about 88 posts by Mods/Middlemen, which I added mainly because I knew that I had seen Wow Sucks there before. Mainly, 48 posts that were made by people with the power to lock/move/delete/sticky threads. So, that would make about 50 posts in 5 months, being 10 posts per month, half of which by one person. And, 10 mods in total that have even posted there. Since the rollback, there have been over 1,000 threads and almost 10,000 posts. So finally, if you could just consider some mods for the Scar forum. In my signiture I have only 9 people that somewhat contribute to the Scar forum. Anyway, tell me your throughts. Remember, I'm not flaming people that do not help in the Scar forum, I am only suggesting that you appoint a mod that does..
Im proud of my 38 posts I agree, something has to be done. Ill talk to Speljohan, he will be more than happy to help...maybe.
Well, if search showed over 50 results then I would show me 700-750 posts in the Scar forum, but you can still be proud of yourself if you want Looking forward to more replies.
I don't care if I am a mod or not. I recommend WhoCares357 as well as Gorefez0r as well for the running if there is a choice (even though WhoCares is now a Zamorak admin and GoF is less active than he used to be ). I'd say we are the most active/know more about Scar than most people on these forums. Don't assume things pl0x. Or, if some global mods (plural, more than one) that knew some things about Scar could stop by there every couple of days, that would be fine too. It just needs some moderation.
Basically this is a good idea in my opinion... and i hink whocares or town would be good options for SCAR mods as i cant say myself .
I agree as well, rather town geting mod has anythign to do with it. and i know alot about scar, (not as much as alot of poeple who use it fequently) but i dont even use it any more or play much, and there has been that much activity in that forum either...
Thanks for all the replies. As far as this, I think everything you said contrdicts itself so I'm not sure what you mean. You agree but me getting a mod has anything to do with it? I'm guessing that you mean me getting a mod has nothing to do with it. I'll answer to that at the end of my post. It is good that you know about Scar, but like many people you don't post around the Scar forums. We (most me and 2-3 other people) need some help around there. There has been that much activity in that forum either? I'm guessing that you are saying that forum isn't very active. There, you are wrong. About every hour I get on and answer 5-10 questions about Scar. I would say that forum combines for about as much activity as any other forum, besides the Black Market, leading me back to your first statement. Yes, the Scar forum does need some moderation (sp?). Anyway, sorry if English is not your first language. Just trying to clear some things up.

Nice Town is a SCAR Programmer..? I know a few other people around here who might deserve that rank too @iksmen This might not be the right section...? Post about that in SCAR help and i can help.
iksmen was reported by me They should stop spamming. i have reported 3 spam posts just today. I prolly average 2.5 reports a day Anyway, i totally agree, the scar forum is not that moderated.
You have done your research well. I totally agree with you. I have seen how you handle the Scar Help section (very well). If this suggestion is accepted, I would vote you head of the Scar moderators. Good suggestion. I hope it comes into play .
