Something really fecking annoying

See the stupid grid at the sides? How do I get rid of it..

 

Lol that just means its transparent like it has no background. If you want to get rid of it just paint it the color you want.

 

I'm not talking about the transparent part of the canvas, I'm talking about the stupid measurement grid outside of it, at the sides...

 

hit ctrl+r
or you can go to view and, I think it is under extras, uncheck rulers
