    Body Goals

Whatsup Guys? So I am a 5'10 Male, and im 20 years old. I have always been semi-athletic (played sports my whole life) but I've also always been a big guy. At my biggest point I was 250 lbs. I realized I needed to make a change and this year (sophomore year of college) I dropped 70-75 lbs. so Now i weigh around 175-177 but im not completely happy with my body. I am a bigger guy in general (broad shoulders and just not a small kid) so im not really trying to drop much more weight but I am trying to lose body fat percentage and put on muscle. I've been eating a lot of protein and trying to stay away from carbs and sugars. Are they any programs/plans you guys know about that would help me acheive me goals? Trying to reach 10% or so body fat %.

You will find it almost impossible to drop you bf% and gain muscle at the same time, you need to be weight lifting as hard as you can for a good few months to build a strong base of muscle. Once you have established the muscle it's time to cut out carb and create a kcal defecit of around 500-800 kcal per day, over the space of a few months your bf% should steadily decrease as you increase cardio and reduce callorie intake.

yeah That's what I generally hear. However Im just going to continue to try to do lose BF % and continue to put on muscle by just eating protein, but a significant amount of it.

Quick update: I am starting a new plan that consists of calorie cutting/cardio (using HIIT) and then 3 days a week, heavy lifting in the afternoon and eating a lot of healthy protein/carbs after that. And then the next day immediately going back to calorie cutting and HIIT. IT seems like it might work.
