Runescape+friends+family.

How do you guys feel bout your friends/family knowing about you playing? My dad loves that i sell mils, cuz i never ask him for spending money. I would NEVER ever ever let my friends know. It would ruin my life. The most awkward moment was when i was using an auto typer, and i was in an aim window, and it sent "buying sanata 20m" to my best friend. He just laughs at it, but it would be terrible if other's found out.

Everyone knows. My family doesn't care abut which games i play, only how many hours i spend.

 

same here. i have one friend that knows i play RS but he use to but he quit and none of my other friends know =\ they would prob mess with me as well.

 

Whta? Are you asking if they would care about the cheating part, or the playing part?

A bunch of people know I play, but they also know I make money off of it. So they don't make fun of me. Kind of.

 

Everyone knows I play, most of my friends play.....well actually a lot of them are switching to Flyff(that's a good game too).

Why would anyone care though? Runescape is just a game and it is not even that childish(except for most of the players)

 

I quit it. It sucks ass. The whole game is filled with no-lifers spending hours trying to get a couple pixels. Now thats what i call having a life.

 

Yeah, my parents used to be a bit jealous that I would make money off the game and get money in the mail, some of my friends play, only like 8, but that was months ago, I dont play anymore. I have been thinking though of getting back into the merching business and selling mills in my spare time when I am not making money at work.

 

Nobody at school knows I play, and I'd like it to stay that way >_>

i play whenever i dont go outside i dont play on weekends most the time i go out some of my friends know i play but rarely so they dont care this game dont prevent me from going out and chillin with them so they straight with it

 

WEll sense some times i do admit i am a little NO LIFING and they say i need to get off some times. my parents are kinda opisite they liked it at first but the game became so addicting and then they decided i am spending way to much time on it. and tha tis how my family feels really but aw well :]

Some of my friends play, we keep it out of my social lives, we speak over msn and together about it, but never publicly. It's embrassing to be so addicted. I rememebr a period I didn't leave me house for this game.

 

my mom knows I used to play and she doesn't like it, but she pays the pin bills all the time, thier is a lot of "normal" people at my school that play so I don't care if people know i play, im higher lvl than like everyone but 1 person at my school, (i know like 40-50 kids) so now i usually just get on myspace or yahoo pool and sythe, when im on the computer because runescape is boaring now that im poor

When i did play i didn't want my friends to know cus they thougth RS is for Nerds. Well now i'm retired and i don't care much about RS anymore. I've got some rares stocked up and i'm planning to cut a nice profit from these

 

I play WoW, I keep that a complete secret, I like to keep my interactive fun and social life seperate.
