My first day on the job!! wish me luck!

Well about 2 weeks back i applied for a telemarketing job and last week they called me and said i have the job and than they called me in for the training and they said i start this week!!! so today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday) i work. its crappy two times a week but still good. $8/hr and today is my first day so yall wish me luck and i hope i dont screw up on the phone and say something stupid to a stranger anyway now while my two bestfriends are working at McDonalds and the other stocking stuff in Lablaws i get to sit in a chair and use the phone ! I also may get a computer eventually !

 

Telemarketing? Well.. you just had to pick the most annoying job in the the world.

if you do not live in the Greater Toronto Area you dont have to worry. lol i saw all the scripts in the training. they actually make those ppl be as more anoying. it says: "If they say no it doesnt always mean a no" they say you gotta convince them and it actualyl shows different tactics to convince them lol.

 

I'd rather work at McDonalds because you can actually have a good time there.

ya but at McDonalds you actually haveto work... i can buy my own good that isnt the problem but at this job here i dont do anything i just sit down and use a phone !
