    99 mage guide without using any money buy gaining.

    Do you want 94 or even 99 mage but you don't want to spend 40M to get there? How would you like to EARN money while training mage? If so read on... ================
    ===My Method====
    ================

    My method is very simple. I use the mage training arena in Al Kharid. It's just north of the Duel Arena.

    What I do is earn a certain amount of pizazz points in each of the 4 portals and cash them in upstairs and get infinity pieces. These pieces, once sold, finance the cost of runes as well as earn a nice profit. How much of a profit is determined by how you do each portal. I will discuss this below.

    To start this, you will need a certain amount of runes. These are:

    890 law runes
    2400 nature runes
    7000 cosmic runes (discussed below)

    These amounts will earn you:

    500 Telekinetic pizazz points
    550 Alchemy pizazz points
    500 Graveyard pizazz points
    6000 Enchantment pizazz points

    Why these amounts? They are needed to buy the mages book, which is, currently, the best selling infinity item for the runes and work. It carries the biggest bang for the buck. In other words, earning and selling the mages book a few times, then using the profit to buy the other infinity pieces on the street is less work and less money than earning all the pieces in the arena.

    How is this so? The mages book is in less supply than other infinity items and is disproportionately higher in demand (for the amount of pizazz points it costs).

    The mages book sell for 5.2M-5.4M on the street.

    It is recommended that you have a mage level of at least 50 before you start doing this. The idea is reach 60 before you get "serious". This will be explained below. ===============================================
    ======== Description and Strategies of each Portal========
    ===============================================

    To earn the mages book (or any other items), you have to earn pizazz points in every portal. Here's the best way to do each one:

    ----------------------------------
    ---Telekinetic Theatre---
    ----------------------------------

    The idea is to move a guardian statue through a short maze (7-10 moves) using the telegrab spell. The mazes are easy, and repeat often. There are only 10 different mazes. You will have the shortest routes memorized very quickly. All you need are 890 laws and an air staff. Getting 500 telekinetic pizazz points takes a few hours, but bringing 20-27 energy pots and wearing a hunting cape and penance gloves will speed things up as there is a lot of running here.

    -----------------------------------------
    ---Alchemist’s Playground---
    -----------------------------------------

    This portal is slightly tougher than the telekinetic portal, but it goes by a lot quicker. You need 55 mage to cast high alchemy (use wizard mind bombs if you need an extra boost). You also need around 2k nats and a fire staff. The idea here is to perform high alchemy on the items that are worth the most (30 gp) or the free items. Personally, I don't alch the free items unless they are at least 15 gp as it takes longer to finish otherwise. There are 5 items and 8 cupboards. Only 1 item will be worth 30 gp. 500 pizazz points = 50k coins (you get 1 point per 100 coins deposited).

    My strategy is to run around to each cupboard and get 6 or 7 of each item. Then I'll stand by the guardian at the top and start alching the item worth 30 gp. When he's about to change the cost, I'll be able to see his warning. Continued...

    If you have a bad internet connection or lots of lag it's a good idea to deposit coins in increments of around 5k. Only deposit in increments of 100, because it rounds down (**: 900, 1000, 1100, etc). Don't leave the portal before depositing, or you won't get the pizazz points you earned (or your runes back that you used!).

    -----------------------------------
    ---Creature Graveyard---
    -----------------------------------

    After doing this the first time, you will hate it. A lot. But there's a way to make this portal easy: Bones to peaches. It's a lvl 60 spell that allows you to turn bones into peaches, which heal 8, instead of bananas. This spell is a MUST.

    After you get the spell, you can get away with eating 1 peach per load deposited into the chute. This saves A LOT of time. My strategy is to go to the 1 pile closest to a food chute and run back and forth the short distance (maybe 7 squares). This portal is near the western chute. With this spell, this becomes the fastest and easiest portal. Bring an earth (or water) staff and water (or earth) runes. A mud staff isn’t necessary, don’t bring one unless you own one already.

    Some lower lvls with low hp may have a problem before they get the peaches spell, as the bones falling from above hit a 2 every few seconds. If this is a problem, it helps to bring about 12 lobsters with you and eat them when your health is getting too low. It also helps to use the lvl 22 prayer rapid heal with prayer gear (credit: Saturos197). Also, tablets do not work in here, unfortunately. Don’t worry about dying here though, as you only lose 10 graveyard points if you do; no items.

    -----------------------------------
    ---Enchantment portal---
    -----------------------------------

    This is where the magic happens. The other portals are dor the robes, but this one is where the XP piles up quick. There are 2 ways to do this: If you want maximum mage experience:
    Avoid enchenting the dragonstones and going from pile to pile. Just stick to one pile and enchant away using the highest spell you are able to use. The staff you need depends on the spell you use, which depends on your magic lvl. Lower levels under 60 mage should do this before the alchemy portal as the experience you get here can lvl you up to 55. It takes about 7000 cosmics to get 6000 points using this method, but the experience you get is tremendous. If you need a little boost to use a higher spell, bring about 12 mind bombs with you.

    Note: You get bonus runes (deaths, bloods, or cosmics) after most orb deposits. If you’re depositing 6k orbs, this can add up nicely.

    What to bring: Speed is important, so I always wear boots of lightness and a spotted cape. It helps a lot more than it seems. If you’re lvl 68-87, you need a mud staff.

    ===============================
    === Other Methods (and why they fail)===
    ===============================

    1. High alchemy

    Not a bad method IF you have either 70 fletching or love to make steel platebodies. If you choose to buy all of your materials, assemble a product (such as a yew longbow) then high alch the notes. If you want fletching or (minimal) smithing experience this can work. But if you don't care about any of those skills, the training arena is the way to go. If you buy the product in notes and the nature runes, you will pay about 100 gp per alch. Thats 100 gp for 65 **. Using the arena, you will get magic experience and earn money.
    Costs: 1.5 gp/exp pt

    2. Camelot teleport

    Using this method, you buy a bunch of law runes and with an air staff, teleport to camelot over and over again. It costs around 350 (the cost of a law) per cast and earns around 50 exp. It costs 3.5 times more than high alchemy and earns a little less experience. Very expensive way to get experience.
    Costs: 6.3 gp per exp pt3. Pest control

    One of the better ways and earns some money (500-1k per game, x10 your combat lvl). It is relatively fast xp, but does not make you a lot of money in the process.

    4. Ice barrage

    This is the quickest and also the most expensive way to train magic. You wear a god cape and ice barrage the nomads in the bedabin camp. It costs 2000 gp each cast and earns, on average, 119 experience per cast. Terrible experience/cost.
    Costs: 16.8 gp per exp pt

    5. Stun

    You cast stun with a mud staff on the zombies in the magic guild basement. Almost twice the speed of high alchemy but considerably more expensive.
    Costs: 3.3 gp per exp pt

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~~~Recap:~~~
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Step 1: Get to around 50 mage at least.
    Step 2: Spend your first pizazz points on the Bones to Peaches spell before trying to earn any infinity parts. The reason for this will become evident the first time you try the graveyard portal. The cost of the spell is 200 telekinetic, 300 alchemy, 200 graveyard, and 2000 enchantment points. This is approximately 350 laws, 1275 nats, and 2500 cosmics. The total cost for all these runes (using high prices) is just over 1M.
    Step 3: Make an initial investment of 2.4M on the runes you need for the mages book. If this is your first time doing this method, and you do not have Bones to Peaches, acquire 3.4M and earn the spell.
    Step 4: Do the portals, get the points, make some cash.
    Step 5: Repeat steps 3-5.
    Using the mage arena, you spend approximately $2.4M on runes. However, you earn $5.5M after selling infinity bottoms. That’s a profit of over $3M. You also get a lot of experience. How much exp?
    If you use.. lvl 87 onyx enchant, you get 722k exp.
    lvl 68 (d stone), 580k.
    lvl 57 (diamond), 500k
    lvl 49 (ruby), 439k
    lvl 27 (emerald), 275k (not recommended)
    It takes about 27 hours to get this total.
    Hope you enjoyed my guide. If you have any questions, please feel free to post them below
    For people with not a lot of money =P.
    The point is they make cash and gain mage exp until they reach 5M - 10M and THEN they can start alching. (maybe)
    afew things with your guide.
    Camelot teleport is 55xp per tele. It is also faster then alching (I average 83k an hour).
    Pest Control is slow if you have a magic level of less then 94.
    Ice Barrage @ bandits isn't the fastest way to train mage. Ice Barrage at Skeletons is the fastest way. You can get up to and over 500xp per cast as well as shit loads of hp xp.
    Other then that your guide is great for the tight ass's who have alot of time on their hands ^_^
