Paying RS Gold FOR CoMPuTEr HeLP!!!!!!!

Ok sup. I got like blue phat 88m ---**+.`+.`+.`+.`+.`+.`+.NEW UPDATE BELOW*---.+.+`.+`.`+.`+.`+`.

anyways sup.. I was alching on rs world 2 la de la de da... and my computer before was like flashing black screen for like .5 second just a quICK black flash and then my computer shut off now it only turns on for 3 seconds then shuts off...


ok still with me? anbyways i looked at it for about 3 hours total i had other computers (not the right size motherboard or processor) i find out its not the power supply..but this is the weird part and prolly the main part you need to hear. if i remove the processor it will stay running but the computer screen will not show anything but the comouter will be on and running di yiu thinkj i need a new motherboard or processor? or both?? becyuz if i fried the nmotherboRED then it shouldnt even be stayong on that long without the processor right? well im paying rs gold for help...the help must be about what im saying lol.....or what the prblem might be i need answers

oK, an update: I think it does beep, and it does not turn on so i cant do jack shit. it says on for about 5 seconds and THIS COMES UP!!!!!!!!!!

A Disk ERror has occured, please press cntl+alt+delte to start...and poof about time ur done reading it it shuts off...about 8 seconds.....



ok heres a new update. we unplugged everything in the computer (my friend pretty gd with comps) "fixed it" anyways i go home and plug it in and the internet does not work, but the internet is plugged in - I think its the ram, because i took 1 ram out and everything started up then one of the lights went out. like-----seems like the RAM help power it IDK MAybe? im not that gd with comps. post ideas.ty-*-*-/-*/-*/

 

umm..i suggest to buy new processor i think lol yesterday my computer generator broke so i bought new one for 20usd umm..i think u should buy new processor

 

a few things you can do, firstly contact your computers tech. support line if der is 1, if not try re-format the computer, then again if that doesn't work i'd reccomend you get a new motherboard, but if you got warranty it should be repaired by your manufacturer.

 

Does your computer beep when it turns on?

If it does, tell us how many times, etc.
That could be the key to finding the problem

EDIT: Typos, etc

 

Yeah as x9 said, try to listen for beeps, also we need the type of BIOS (most likely award) you have to decipher the beep codes.

I believe if it beeps and it doesn't show a screen then the Ram is a dud.

I also don't recommend that you remove your processor and start the computer again because that was pretty dumb.

Look for any power cords were the metal parts of them may be touching the motherboard.

 

Sounds like your power supply blew and took your motherboard with it. Happened to me :/

 

dont replace your processor.......... and it will still start because its not actually computing anything, its just running POST etc. Best idea is to reinstall windows on your current partition but not delete it! Ive had this happen so many times I could fix it with my eyes closed. If you need help with reinstalling windows the correct way just pm me.

new processor....this shit happened top my computer.......piece of shit computers

 

press f8 when the computer starts up go to the part where its says to which programs start up turn the disk one off then check out ur computer it might just be your setup and you might have to reinstall your harddrive.
