    Real World Trading

After the last update, I'm kinda sketchy about doing this. I was planning to buy a few million off the BM, but not if theres a chance of getting banned. I'm wondering if i should still go for it, or use a seperate paypal account to do it to reduce the risk. Thoughts?

I still haven't been banned after doing about 4B in transactions total, and my RS name is remarkably similar to my Sythe.org name. But trade at your own risk.

Jagex won't do anything unless you make it obvious that you're buying gold. Just talk to each other in MSN or something and stake the gold and have the seller lose. You'll rarely get caught.

Theres plenty ways to do it more safely.

    Drop the gold
    Stake the gold
Pk the person with the gold
Put crappy items up and say omg i accidently hit accept or somthing.
Put money on a lvl 3 character.
    Give money in small increments.

Don't you think it's funny that they claim to be banning thousands of accounts each week for real world trading...yet you hardly ever see a SINGLE person talking about being banned on the top 2 cheating sites?

They are just not doing their job for shit and putting out lies to make it sound like they are doing their job.

Yea since actually catching people doing it is hard. You cant be sure if they are lending, borrowing, etc.

K, I had a feeling that this was so. Now the only problem is someone trusting someone with a post count of 5 to trade by paypal.

Postcount is a sucky way to trust someone. People with very high postcounts scam all the time.

The best way i reckon. Is to stake. Just stake like 50m for something around that that equivelant and let the Seller loose. Makes it seem real. :)

I usally use a lvl 3 acc and wait for about a day then trade it to the acc i was going to give it to never been caught. Usally the seller just want to sell it then leave. p.s. if the money is over 10m then trade in 3m a bulk that way the tracker thing won't count it as a unequal trade. so it won't pick it up.
    Hope that helps.

Anyone who falls for that Jagex propaganda is quite naive and foolish. If you read their posts, all they say is that Rule 12 has become a "priority". What kind of bullshit is that? Was Real-World Trading not a priority before? This is simply Jagex trying to scare buyers away, and sure, it's worked temporarily. The fact of the matter, however, is that there are no new methods of detecting Real-World Trades.

Temporarily, the buyers have been scared away somewhat. Along with the problems with e-Gold, this has driven GP prices down. However, Jagex will have to continue making these posts weekly to continue the effect, and that is likely not going to happen. People will soon realize they are empty threats, and will continue to purchase gold.
