My IRC (pictures)

This is what happens in the IRC when I try to connect;

First, I click the IRC icon on my desktop, I let the expiration thing run out, then this window pops up;


I then press the Connect To Server button. Then it loads, and I get this;


After that comes up, I type in #Sythe, and press Join. After, the window closes and I get this;


Then, well thats what I get, nothing. I used to do the same thing, and after the Sythe channel would come up, but not anymore. Also, this is what everything says in the box; (I edited my IP out)

And yes, many times I have done /msn NickServ Identify password, but it doesnt work, and yes, I have chosen different nicks. Please, can someone help me, or someone fix the IRC...

Yeah thanks. IRC at work works, but I would like the regular one to work. But until then, I will use that!

What you have posted is fine, all you have to do is type /j #sythe. If you're to lazy to do this every time go to Tools > Options > Connect-Options > Perform > and type, "/j #sythe", in there.

Can you join as a guest?

 

This happens to me too, I'll have to watch this thread :S

 

Maybe your mIRC version is screwed up Change it or download good script Like NoName or something

 

Don't open favorites on connect. Delete all that. Close everything. Type in, '/server irc.sythe.org -j #sythe', and you will be connected to #sythe.

 

Do this in the exact order and it should work.

1. Open up mIRC.
2. Type /server irc.sythe.org Wait for it to connect.
3. Then type /nick Cody
4. Type /join #sythe
5. It will let you join, but you can't talk because you aren't registered. Type /ns REGISTER Cody [password] [email address]
Check your email, type in the code, and away you go.

 

Fixed, should be able to get back in now.
