Before you post any help needs or replies on where to download or if you have any "identifier" errors, read this.

If you have already read and followed other how to set up SCAR and SRL threads and you still have troubles then read ALL of this before you post a help thread.

Error 1 Solution - "Identifier Expected":


1. Make sure you have the latest SCAR from freddy1990.com and latest SRL from srl-forums.com

2. The latest SCAR I believe is 3.06 and the latest SRL is 3.7
To properly download SRL is to have the latest SCAR and in SCAR click FILE then DOWNLOAD SRL and watch in the debug box at the bottom of the SCAR program.

3. When it downloads it places itself in your SCAR folder in Program Files, all you have to do is find the SCAR folder (usually like, C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.06) then open includes folder then open the SRL folder, you should see some folders and 2 SCAR scripts, open the script called SetupSrl.scar and run the script (hot keys, ctrl + alt + R). The script should run successfully.

3. After you do all this "hard" work then try to compile (ctrl+f9) your script that had the "identifier" error(s) again (compile just checks if it is ready to work).

4. If it compiles successfully then setup your character up for the script and remember to make sure you do the script setups correctly.


5. If your script STILL does not work then it is probably old with no SRL or old SRL. Just PM for a Up-To-Date script or just look around srl-forums.com

Error 2 Solution - "Unknown Identifier":

This error is somewhat like the "Identifier Expected" error and can be resolved in the same way.

Simply follow the steps of the "Identifier Expected" error solutions.

Error 3 Solution - "Type Mismatch":


This is a common error when some people make there own scripts, it means you have added/make put a variable wrongly. Re-read where the error is and check your variables.

Erm, 1/10 for tut. Doesn't really help much. That Identifier Expected and Identifier Unkown does NOT mean that you have the wrong SRL. That MIGHT be the problem, but most likely you did not declare a variable that you are using or you forgot a begin/end. And you don't describe Type Mismatch at all.
