They're probably tacking on a 4% fee because you're using a credit card, that's how much credit card companies charge merchants who use them typically

    Bitcoin question

You're right but even so they still charge you more than the value.
    Proof:
    1 BTC = £355(http://preev.com/btc/gbp)
when I buy 1 btc on bitty it costs me £366, thats £11 more than what the BTC costs. Obviously they need to make profit but I was wondering If there somewhere I could buy £100 worth of BTC for £100 UKBT.
Also, Thanks for the information didn't notice CC was more at first :p

    Bitcoin question

Preev seems to gather the bitcoin value from Bitfinex, Bitstamp and BTC-E while google seems gets the bitcoin value from Coinbase Inc.

On the topic of accuracy, it is still best to use these as a guide for a ballpark figure. There are delays in information relaying so it will never ever reflect the real-time value of a Bitcoin.

Dumb question but Bitcoin doesn't have a stock presence in real stock exchanges, right?

Oh they do. NYSE supports that after they invested in Coinbase and I am sure other exchanges has done the same.
