The Physics to Disprove Twin Towers Pancaking

Annex, ur absolutely right, except u could have figured out the height by using this formula:
T=square root of (2H/Gravity)
Where T is time in seconds, and H is height in meters
the answer would be around 396.77m (I'm just proving u right)
Does anyone know the exact time it took for the skyscraper to fall completely to the ground? If so, we can figure out the exact height of the towers.


EDIT: I found out that the world trade centers' heights were 1368 and 1362 feet. I calculated the free fall time of an object on the top of the 1368 feet tower, which is around 416.9664m. The time I got was 9.224 seconds, pretty close to the predicted 9 seconds, and this does NOT take into account air resistance, other forces and factors that may have influenced the time. Also, 9.8 is a rounded figure of the gravitational force, it's around 9.83 something

In Response to the dude that said heat played a major part: Yes heat did play a major part BUT steel's melting point is about 1300c YET aviaton fuel (When mixed with air) has a max burning temp of about 350c.
There were signs of molten steel when the rubble was searched.
Now how the fuck could that be????????

This isn't enough evidence to prove anything. This small 3 step process formula, might prove a small conspiracy, but not enough to prove the entire theory.

 

The onluy conspiricy i see here is that the tower dissobayed the laws of physics, which needless to say is impossible. So what exactly are you saying, that Americans rigged the tower to fall quicker than gravity allows.

Your maths application of the physics formula is fundamentally sound but you forgot to factor in other variables such as air resistance which is omnipresent unless it was a vaccum.

If you want to know whether if the twin towers was really collapsed with terrorist acts, or want to know if it was all a part of the Bush scheme. I say look for the movie called "Loose Change" this is an AMAZING documentry on the twin towers the day it collpased and i guarantee, after seeing it, you guys will think differently.
